ALL IN ONE MOBILITY IS A STAR

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 8am, to a 3 after 10hrs of sleep. It is a dry cool morning. I took my am pills and put my flag out. A.I.O.M. was back today to do a little touch up and the main bath linoleum. My reports will be repetitive and short again today. I did fall off my push diet over the weekend and I think everyone at Billy's B.D. had a wonderful time. I must say after Billy's B.D. Kara, Denise, and all did wonderful. Billy has a lot to be proud of with Kara. Judi is cooking seafood fettuccine for dinner tonight and it will be very hard to keep my push diet up today also. I did get to my NCA today while they were finishing up the bathrooms. They finished shortly after I got home and I have to say Lloyd and his help did a wonderful job. Again I want to thank all of you for your prayers for my Brother in Law Eric's Dad. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.
That in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

AROUND THE CORNER
Charles Hanson Towne (1877-1949)

Around the corner I have a friend, In this great city that has no end;Yet days go by, and weeks rush on, And before I know it, a year is gone, and I never see my old friend’s face, For life is a swift and terrible race.He knows I like him just as well, As in the days when I rang his bell And he rang mine.
We were younger then, And now we are busy, tired men; Tired with trying to make a name Tired with playing a foolish game; ‘Tomorrow,’ I say, ‘I will call on Jim, Just to show that I’m thinking of him.’ But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes, And the distance between us grows and grows. Around the corner!— yet miles away ...‘Here’s a telegram, sir.Jim died today.’
And that’s what we get and deserve in the end; Around the corner, a vanished friend.

My daily prayer, is to Mary Mother of God…..”O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear OUR prayer. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially for my Brother and Sister in Law, Peg and Eric, as Eric's family is dealing with the loss of his father; the Kantack family; and all in need. We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help ALL of us, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever, Amen.”
Thank You, Mother Mary, for your help and assistance.

I know I have been repeating things, maybe too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of, and I've cleared a lot so far.

LDN REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg I think I'm noticeably better. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change, even my NCA noticed again today. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, and I have increased to 3. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. I'm not jogging but I have been doing a lot of walking and it is a help for me getting into my new shower. It is apparently another pill that Kaiser Pharmacy does not “compound”.

POLITICAL

How is it, our country is spreading “democracy” around the world and because of five U.S. Senators we don't even seem to practice it here in our own country.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer, Rep. Peter DeFazio, Rep. David Wu and Rep. Kurt Schrader are true healthcare heroes! Because of their leadership and critical YES votes for reform, we're the closest we've come to finally achieving health care legislation that holds insurance companies accountable and offers choice and competition through a public option. They deserve our most sincere thanks.Oregon's healthcare heroes need to hear from Oregonians. These Congressmen helped pass the most comprehensive healthcare reform bill in the history of these United States, at least through the House of Representatives. They deserve our thanks.
Thank you all ...........now, GET 'ER DONE !

I think; with over 60% of the American public supporting health care reform, including a public option, that ALL this health care “controversy” that is being generated is to take the publics mind off of the Employee Free Choice Act, American Rights at Work, “card check” legislation. HmmmmmnThank you, Senator Wyden; for your actions in committee on health care. Now the ball is in yours and Jeff's court! You both have looked and sounded very good on the Big Ed Schultz Show.

Thank you too, Earl for the service member first time home buyer tax credit fix, HR 3590 and responding to my health care questions.

I still don't know yet, if the “soft landing” bill is done but that is one issue I will keep harping on until I am sure, I didn't call the Senators local office yet and try to reach Barbara to find out where it is. As near as I can figure, all that needs to be done for the soft landing at the State Level (Legislature) is complete; thank you Rick and Brent; and everyone, but based on what I heard yesterday it appears to be on the back burner and the burner hasn't even been turned on yet!

Did you know that there were more vets that died last year because they didn't have health care, than died in both Wars?

OK, what did YOU do for the National Guard today. Daniel's wife Trina is still helping, with Daniel in the Middle East. How about getting all our service people their overdue raise.Still sooooo many cages to rattle and wheel squeaking, remaining; and me with only a three wheel scooter!

By the way; You don't have to be a ”wheel” to get heard, just squeak for a while.
Bring our people home! ( THIS IS AN OFFICIAL SQUEAK ! )

YELLOW RIBBON SECTION

We now have one nephew in Iraq and one nephew in Afghanistan. Be safe, hurry home.

When I relate to anyone the story of our Guard members being charged for Internet access; EVERYONE I speak to is as disgusted as I, I wonder how much of the proposed raise in the D.O.D. Appropriations will need to be used to pay those exorbitant Internet costs by our people in uniform. I still don't know what the people in Washington D.C. are getting charged for their Internet access?

At the 11th Hour, on the 11th Day, of the 11th Month a cease fire was signed to end the war to end all wars in 1918. How's that worked out so far?

I am getting very disappointed in the President, because, at least in my mind, the Military Industrial Complex and Banks still seem to be in charge.

SPORTS

Felix Hernandez is my Cy Young leader in the American league; Carlos Zambrano is my Cy Young pick in the National league, but of course I don't have a vote.

And yes; I still think the Ducks are for real! The Civil War game WILL decide the PAC 10 representative in the Rose Bowl.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7:15am, to a 3+ after 9hrs of sleep. It is a wet cool morning. I took my am pills and put my flag out. A.I.O.M. was here yesterday and I actually got a shower in my new shower. They will be back Friday to do a little touch up and the main bath linoleum. My reports will be repetitive and short again because I need to take another shower and get ready to head to Danni's. Again I want to thank all of you for your prayers for my Brother in Law Eric's Dad. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me. I don't know if Eric's Dad was also a fisherman but I will dedicate that poem to him again today.
I did also get a call from Michael Ross, wishing us a happy Thanksgiving and telling me, he and Courtney were preparing for their first Thanksgiving together and they had a couple of friends that drove down.

I do have a lot to be Thankful for and I hope you all do also.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.

PRESIDENT OBAMA; PLEASE DON'T DISAPOINT ME

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 6:45am, to a 3 after 9hrs of sleep. It is a sunny cool morning. I took my am pills, but did forget my pm pills along with my LDN yesterday. A.I.O.M. was here yesterday for over 5 hours and they are very close to completion. They have finished the shower parts and are letting it “dry” until after 11am today, but they will be back to finish after 11am this morning and they did say I should be able to use it for getting ready for Thanksgiving.

My reports will be repetitive and short again, although I do have some bad news to report.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers for my Brother in Law Eric's Dad who expired yesterday. I also will report, I was not the winner of Thanksgiving Raffle, so it is apparent that someone needed it more than me. Judi and I did walk across the street last night to offer our condolences to Eric and Peg and I did maneuver up the steps rather well, I thought. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me. I don't know if Eric's Dad was also a fisherman but I want to dedicate the fishermans poem to him today.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.
That in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

And that’s what we get and deserve in the end; Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Don't forget, if you have a favorite message from a ”section” you are going to have to research my blog; change is coming.

My daily prayer, is to Mary Mother of God…..”O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear OUR prayer. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially for my Brother and Sister in Law, Peg and Eric, as Eric's family is dealing with the loss of his father; the Kantack family, and all in need. We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help ALL of us, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever, Amen.”

As near as I can figure, all that needs to be done for the soft landing at the State Level (Legislature) is complete; thank you Rick and Brent; and everyone.

Did you know that there were more vets that died last year because they didn't have health care, than died in both Wars?

OK, what did YOU do for the National Guard today. Daniel's wife Trina is still helping, with Daniel in the Middle East. How about getting all our service people their overdue raise.

Still sooooo many cages to rattle and wheel squeaking, remaining; and me with only a three wheel scooter!

By the way; You don't have to be a ”wheel” to get heard, just squeak for a while.

HEALTH CARE BY CHRISTMAS ?

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 6am, to a 3 after 8hrs of sleep. It is a dry cool morning. I took my am pills along with that new M.S. Pill that I will report on in my LDN section. A.I.O.M. Was here this morning at 8:30am to continue on my new shower, so my reports will be repetitive and short again. Today is the Thanksgiving Raffle and I hope you all have tickets, . I checked on the time and they are supposed to draw at 8:30am also. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me, and the fishermens poem from Zowies funeral:

Around the corner!— yet miles away ...‘Here’s a telegram, sir. Jim died today.’
And that’s what we get and deserve in the end; Around the corner, a vanished friend.

FROM ZOWIES FUNERAL:

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.
That in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially for my Brother and Sister in Law, Peg and Eric, as Eric's family is dealing with cancer issues with his father; the Kantack family, and all in need.

So far with the 4.5mg I think I'm noticeably better, even though I forgot last nights. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change, even my NCA has noticed. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, and I have increased to 3 today. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. I'm not jogging but I have been doing a lot of walking and it should be a help for me getting into my shower. It is apparently another pill that Kaiser Pharmacy does not “compound”.

POLITICAL

Hmmmmmn

Thank you, Senator Wyden; for your actions in committee on health care. Now the ball is in yours and Jeff's court! You both have looked and sounded very good on the Big Ed Schultz Show.

MEET THE PRESS..........LIAR, LIAR, LIAR

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7am, to a 3 after 8+hrs of uneasy sleep, due to that wind storm last night. It is a very wet cool morning. I didn't get my flag out as the deck was a mess from the wind last night, the patio table was blown apart. and it even blew off one of the extra yellow ribbons Judi put up. I took my am pills along with that new M.S. Pill that I will report on in my LDN section. I haven't heard from Judi and the girls, but they are supposed to be back today and I hope the winds we had last night were not as bad in Lincoln City.

I am still contemplating a major change in my blog. It will definitely be shortened up December first. I did get out for a little while yesterday and had a foot-long hot dog & chips at Goriaz to prepare for the ball games last night.

I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me, and the fishermens poem from Zowies funeral:

Senator Whitehouse is a star

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7am, to a 3 after 9+hrs of sleep. It is a damp cool morning. I took my am pills along with that new M.S. Pill that I will report on in my LDN section. Judi and The girls did get safely to Lincoln City, but they did encounter a hail storm between Spirit Mountain and Lincoln City. I did ask her to play 2 4's and and an 8 for me, at Spirit Mountain, after all it was Friday, but no luck reported. I am still contemplating a major change in my blog, it will definitely be shortened up December first. I didn't make the union meeting last night as the hail storm encountered by the girls was just arriving when I finished dinner at Gloriaz. Thank goodness they had a new SOLID cover on their deck.

In case your wondering about my reasoning for including Bob Shiprack and Pete Savage on my HERO'S list here is the resoning. For as long as I have known Bob Shiprack he has been unwavering in his work and help for any and all in the construction industry. Even those that attempted to undermine his efforts. Pete Savage, I placed, based on the article in the Oregon Labor Press explaining the reasoning behind his termination from the PNWDCC, I believe they both live by my "golden rule"; "ALL YOU CAN DO, IS WHAT YOU CAN DO, JUST DO ALL YOU CAN DO" AND THEY BOTH HAVE!

I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me and, the fishermens poem from Zowies funeral:

FROM ZOWIES FUNERAL:
God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.
That in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially for my Brother and Sister in Law, Peg and Eric, as Eric's family is dealing with cancer issues with his father; the Kantack family, and all in need.

I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change, even my NCA has noticed. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, and I have increased to 2. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. I'm not jogging but I have been doing a lot of walking and it should be a help for me getting into my shower. It is apparently another pill that Kaiser Pharmacy does not “compound”. I did hear from AIO Mobility and they intend to be here Monday to get started.

POLITICAL

I am watching the Senate debate on health care and I must say again Senator Whitehouse is a real star. I will be writing him a personal letter of thanks and, based on my own recent experiences with Social Security and Medicare, and my own fears; Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana just took the floor and she is a key in the Senate to get the bill to the floor. She just announced she will be voting to move forward but she is NOT committing to vote for the final bill. She also gave kudo's to our own Senator Wyden.

They deserve our most sincere thanks. Oregon's healthcare heroes need to hear from Oregonians.

Hmmmmmn

Thank you, Senator Wyden; for your actions in committee on health care. Now the ball is in yours and Jeff's court! You both have looked and sounded very good on the Big Ed Schultz Show.

As near as I can figure, all that needs to be done for the soft landing at the State Level (Legislature) is complete; thank you Rick and Brent; and everyone.

Did you know that there were more vets that died last year because they didn't have health care, than died in both current Wars?

OK, what did YOU do for the National Guard today. Daniel's wife Trina is helping, with Daniel in the Middle East. How about getting all our service people their overdue raise.

Still sooooo many cages to rattle and wheel squeaking, remaining; and me with only a three wheel scooter! And all those deserving cages I missed in Bend, darn.

By the way; You don't have to be a ”wheel” to get heard, just squeak for a while.

Bring our people home! ( THIS IS AN OFFICIAL SQUEAK ! ) Help me save my yellow ribbons. We now have three on the deck.

YELLOW RIBBON SECTION

When I relate to anyone the story of our Guard members being charged for internet access; EVERYONE I speak to is as disgusted as I, I wonder how much of the proposed raise in the D.O.D. Appropriations will need to be used to pay those exorbitant Internet costs. I still don't know what the people in Washington D.C. are getting charged for their Internet access?

I hope you all watched Bill Moyers last night. His reflections on President Johnson and Viet Nam and the uncanny similarities to this point in time.

At the 11th Hour, on the 11th Day, of the 11th Month a cease fire was signed to end the war to end all wars in 1918. How's that worked out so far?

SPORTS

Felix Hernandez is my Cy Young leader in the American league; Carlos Zambrano is my Cy Young pick in the National league, but of course I don't have a vote.

And yes; I still think the Ducks are for real! The game tonight should be a good one.

The Blazers sure blew it last night. I do think the loss of Travis Outlaw really was the difference.

The University of Portland Pilots womens soccer game last night in the NCAA tournament was also a great win.

GETMAN MAKES THE FINAL TABLE

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7am, to a 2+ after 9+hrs of sleep. It is a wet cool morning. I took my am pills along with that new M.S. Pill that I will report on in my LDN section. I tuned into C-span and checked the Market, it was down about 25pts but still over 10,300. Judi headed off this morning for her meet up at the beach with The girls and she has called from Spirit Mountain already. I did ask her to play 2 4's and and an 8 for me, after all it is Friday. Judi and I both got our h1n1 shots yesterday and I did imbibe way too much, so I will blame that 2+ on demon, alcohol and not on the flu shots. And I am still contemplating a major change in my blog. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me and, the fishermens poem from Zowies funeral:

Around The Corner
Charles Hanson Towne (1877-1949)

Around the corner I have a friend, In this great city that has no end; Yet days go by, and weeks rush on, And before I know it, a year is gone, And I never see my old friend’s face, For life is a swift and terrible race. He knows I like him just as well, As in the days when I rang his bell And he rang mine. We were younger then, And now we are busy, tired men; Tired with trying to make a nameTired with playing a foolish game; ‘Tomorrow,’ I say, ‘I will call on Jim, Just to show that I’m thinking of him.’ But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes, And the distance between us grows and grows. Around the corner!— yet miles away ...‘Here’s a telegram, sir.Jim died today.’
And that’s what we get and deserve in the end; Around the corner, a vanished friend.

FROM ZOWIES FUNERAL:
God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast
I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep.
That in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

HEALTH CARE WITH A PUBLIC OPTION

TRIP 9's weren't enough, arrrgggg

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7:50am, to a 3- after 9hrs of sleep. It is a wet cool morning. I took my am pills along with that new M.S. Pill that I will report on in my LDN section. I put out my flag and went out for a cig. I did see the great American smoke out is Thursday. (maybe) I tuned into C-span and checked the Market (up to over 10,416), and have been contemplating a major change in my blog. That MDA fundraiser yesterday in Welches was a heck of a lot of fun, and it was a great cause. While neither Mike nor I made the final table we did make the final room. ;-)
I did get the heartbreaking article on cousin Joe's successful year for his Volleyball team. The Montana Standard Article was great and they did him justice after finishing his 21st year (wow) as coach going up against a team that hadn't lost all year. I will again repeat one of my Dads favorite poems, brother Mike was kind enough to send me and the fishermens poem from Zowies funeral:
