Now back to my regular blog:

I awoke this morning at 6;30am to be sure I was up early enough to make the March of Dimes Walk for Clare Schropshire. I must apologize to both Clare and Al as I have not enough energy to make the walk. I tried to email them this morning and let them know and I hope they got the message. I used too much energy yesterday celebrating good friend Mike Botkins Birthday yesterday, and it sounds like they will have a very nice day for their walk. I will put the walk page in right here and ask anyone that can to please make a donation. They were so very good about making our M.S. Walk on the 9th and I do feel obligated to return the favor. So if you can here is the web address, help if you can. http://www.marchforbabies.org/wd_regp04.asp?si=&wsid=12078&g=1&v=1&w=4796717&r=&pnum=&pname=Family+Teams+%2D+Clark+County&tid=&tnum=&tname=Family%2BTeams%2B%2D%2BClark%2BCounty&SeId=1444570&subname=March+for+Campbell+and+Jennings&walk=company&change=&other=&prefill=&u=&EditTeam=&pg=

I did take my am pills and awoke to a 3- after 8hrs, to a beautiful sunrise and it looks like a great day for a charity walk. I checked the birdseed on the west deck and there was still lots left but I did get a Blue Jay for a couple bites, hopefully this is a good sign for the walk. I still did not finish my Kaiser picket sign or contact Suzanne in Congressman Schrader's office and get her the information on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends list”.

I will put the prayer to St. Jude in here again for good friend Dianna and Ed Collins and all our 290 brothers and sisters that have come before and built Our 290 into the organization I am so proud to have been a member of, for almost 40 years.

** For those brothers and sisters that are no longer with us. **

Prayer to St. Jude for Eternal Life
You are my solace, St. Jude, in the face of loss and sorrow. I pray that you will guide my heart away from the darkness of fear and into the light of Christ. May the hope that St. Jude keeps alive in my heart be a source of comfort to all those who grieve. For in that hope, we know God's mercy, and we trust God's promise of eternal life. My soul longs for the fullness of life, which is only to be revealed when I meet my Maker in heaven. Stay by my side, St. Jude, so that my soul will always know the power of your healing love. Amen.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast, I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep, that in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

**** My daily prayer, is to Mary Mother of God…..”O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today. For sister Danni, sister Clare, cousin Mick, uncle Hank, nephew Arron, Kelli's Mom, good friends Ron Wyden and Pat O'baby, good family friend Pat Percin, brothers Jimmy Judge, and Gerry Bruce, sister Donna and those who are having health issues; protecting Christopher and Rhyon and all in need. We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help ALL of us, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever, Amen.”

I know I have been repeating things, apparently too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I still need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

KAISER AND M.S. REPORT:

This is also my attempt to keep track of my experiences with Kaiser Permanente and my Neurologist and his RN. so far with the Ampyra and the 4.5mg LDN, I think I'm noticeably better and it has been noticeable to others also, I did get a referral from my primary care doctor and she has referred me to get a new set of xray's for Medicare which I did, so we will see if it changes the (normal now) Denial of benefits, my BP this morning is 133/84/57 at 10:30am, not bad considering the energy I expended yesterday. I sent off an email to my primary care Doctor, the trust attorney, and 2 of the trustee's. After I got my last “explanation of benefits” as it said, this is not a bill but in the billed amount was $84.10 (exactly the LDN amount) in the next column was the allowed amount of $84.10, the member responsibility was 0.00, Kaiser paid 0.00; if the member responsibility was 0.00 WHY DID IT COST ME $84.10?? When I turned in my latest Lloyd Center Pharmacy receipt it was for my LDN and I did get a referral for the chiropractor from my primary care Doctor last Friday, she said she was prescribing 6 visits but she was a little skeptical that it would be approved, and surprise; it was denied. I have a full briefcase just of my Kaiser stuff that doesn’t include the dozens of email's between Kaiser, my Doctor's, Lou and the attorney and I guess I better get it all organized, but I may need a steamer trunk. I think, energy and time provided, I will build my picket sign from my “Walkers Walkers” sign; and undertake that action soon, there seems to still be plenty of brothers and sisters on our 290 that still want to picket, so maybe I can recruit some of them. I did get a copy of a GREAT letter from the trust attorney to Kaiser.

SENATOR JOHN ENSIGN SHOULD GO TO JAIL...........FOR A LONG TIME
!!

I have a question for my republican friends; When I put my money in the bank and then draw it out, do YOU consider that an entitlement? HMMMN?? I will make another plug now for the petition for a Constitutional Amendment to REQUIRE Congress to live under the SAME laws they pass for us.

Do you suppose congress's solution to extend and save Social Security and Medicare by CUTTING benefits, instead of raising the maximum would have any thing to do with the fact that THEY would have to pay Social Security taxes for the whole year?? OR MEANS TEST IT so those with good pensions (like union members) couldn't qualify? DO I EVEN HAVE ANY LEFT
??

Don't forget to say THANK YOU, to all those servicemen and women who have served or are serving.

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS ON HIS WAY BACK STATESIDE NOW; BUT IT APPEARS THAT NEPHEW RHYON WILL BE HEADED BACK TO AFGHANISTAN IN MAY, so a prayer a day from all my readers would still make me feel better.

ONE RIBBON STILL UP, FOR CHRISTOPHER, SOON TO COME DOWN, AND WHEN RHYON GETS REDEPLOYED; HIS RIBBON WILL GO BACK UP.

PLEASE SUPPORT THE OREGON MILITARY SUPPORT NETWORK.

Joining Forces: As part of the Obama Administration's commitment to America's military families, the First Lady and Dr. Jill Biden launched their Joining Forces initiative, which will bring together all sectors of American society to lend a hand to military families.

If you are flying the American Flag, please keep flying it until ALL our Troops return home.

At the 11th Hour, on the 11th Day, of the 11th Month a cease fire was signed to end the war to end all wars in 1918. How's that worked out so far?

AOH REPORT:

I missed our meeting Thursday night but my trip to Salem did drain me also. I have nothing to report on the “Unite Ireland” issue. I didn't get the names down for that 15 year AOH picture yet, but maybe at but it sounded like our report was under the LAOH reports? The first Monahan that showed up on any U. S. past history was an Ann Monahan who arrived in New York on April 5, 1848 aboard the ship “Waterloo,” at the time of the famine, and April 5th it was 163 years. ONE OF MY HERO'S!

I also want to report that Uncle Hank has returned from the hospital and I spoke with his wife, my aunt; this EASTER morning and she told me he was 100% better, but all prayers are still appreciated.

While the Montana AOH received a Governors Proclamation with a 3 day celebration on their 125th anniversary; and a great article in my newly received AOH Newspaper; WE had a wonderful address by THE RITA O'HARE, and maybe I can get the gaelic translated for me. Thank You Ann Monahan for your bravery.

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice) and I hope to ask Suzanne in Kurt's office to get him to sign on; we need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest, that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants. This battle for justice that is being waged here in the U.S.A. by father McManus is also being waged in Belfast Northern Ireland by a heroic Belfast protestant named Raymond McCord Sr., whose son was also assassinated. His book will be available on Amazon and I am going to try to get a direct link with the help of wife Judith; our own personal Amazon book distributor. You also might be interested to know that the book launch and a book signing will be held at the Phoenix Park Hotel on May Day in Washington D.C.; a hotel I have been to many times as you know by now and it is above one of my favorite D.C. Drinking establishments in Washington; THE DUBLINER !! (which I have always considered KELL'S EAST.)

SPORTS:

The Blazer's are off now until next year. So it appears I'll be limited to baseball, golf and soccer.

I did see that the Portland Timbers are selling individual tickets, and they are at very reasonable prices.

I still hope that some nice golf weather comes back and I can find a “Wally Catcher” so I can get out and practice or play.

I think the Mariners are on a 4 game win streak; The Orioles started really hot and it IS next year for the Cubs. I also got a good report from brother Marty that nephew Michael is of to a good start for the Rangers.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES:

I found the updated 2011 BULL SESSION website. ( http://www.bullsessioncharity.com ) While I still haven't gone there yet myself, I did get their 2011 letter and booklet. REMEMBER – IT'S FOR THE KIDS ! THANK YOU JIM ! AND THANK YOU ALSO TO THE MEMBERS OF LOCAL 290 FOR YOUR VERY GENEROUS DONATION. ALL HELP APPRECIATED.

The American Rights at Work still needs help; now more than ever. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, our two Senators haven't; E.F.C.A. And based on what I have been seeing and hearing, the Republican's have Organized Labor directly in their cross hairs at least for the next 2 years.

The U.A. Local 290 “Don Salee” Member Assistance Program.

LOCAL UNION REPORT:

Thanks again to all my Sisters and Brothers for electing me to attend this years International Convention, and It appears I will be flying, but based on that letter about Intel from the General President it should prove to be a very interesting Convention.

OTHER STUFF AND COMMUNICATIONS:

Now back to my regular blog:

I have absolutely nothing new to report today I am going to hit the sack in just a few minutes, I will be getting back up early enough to make the March of Dimes Walk in Vancouver at 9am tomorrow, so tomorrow will probably be late and shorttomorrow too. My trip to Salem was uneventful, but I did leave my AOH request information with the Governor's office and found out that Dave Hunt's rules committee won't be meeting until Monday and I hope to be there. I did take all my pills at pretty close to the right time today but did not finish my Kaiser picket sign or contact Suzanne in Congressman Schrader's office and get the information on Father McManus “Congressional Friends list”.

Don't forget the March of Dimes walk for Babies tomorrow 9am at Ester Short Park in Vancouver for sister Clare Schropshire, as we all know, I will not be able to walk but I will make every attempt to be there to scoot in support of her efforts, I offered Judi a ride but she has decline so far.

At the 11th Hour, on the 11th Day, of the 11th Month a cease fire was signed to end the war to end all wars in 1918. How's that worked out so far?

AOH REPORT:

Our meeting Monday night was dominated again by the “Unite Ireland” issue. And I did get to thank Mayor Sam for the Unite Ireland resolution.

We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice) and I hope to ask Suzanne in Kurt's office tomorrow to get him to sign on; we need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest, that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants.

SPORTS:

The Blazer's lost their first playoff game in Dallas; I watched it and I thought they got homered, and I was not the only one, but I that second loss I will blame on the bench; and even after that first win; the bench needs to RISE UP and they did then, but since that last game loss they now have their back's against the wall !

I did see that the Portland Timbers are selling individual tickets, and they are at very reasonable prices.

I sure hope that nice golf weather comes back and I can find a “Wally Catcher” so I can get out and practice or play.

I am sure glad the baseball preseason is over. I will also still be watching the Orioles games, along with the Mariners and Cubs.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES:

Don't forget the March of Dimes Walk this Saturday in Vancouver, for Clara Schropshires team

Now back to my regular blog:

I awoke this morning at 6:30am after 8 hours of sleep to a 3. I took my am pills, and then checked the birdseed on the west deck, lots still left. By the time I got to posting I had finally made a connection with Queen Donna and I found out it is her Birthday; SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY QUEEN! I still plan to finish my Kaiser picket sign and take time this week to do my personal picketing, especially since there will be no more Contract Picketing, and Herman gave a report on the contract settlement at B.T. today and everyone there was adequately impressed. I did make the CPBT this morning but I didn't make the Congressman Schrader breakfast this morning but I will try to contact Suzanne this afternoon and get the information on Father McManus “Congressional Friends list”. I am going to make the Thursday the 28th WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY in Salem, and as far as I'm concerned that would be a VERY appropriate time to address the other issue. I do have the March of Dimes walk in Vancouver Saturday, Judi will try to make it but her knee is really acting up.

Don't forget the March of Dimes walk for Babies on Saturday, April 30th in Vancouver for sister Clare Schropshire, as we all know, I will not be able to walk but I will make every attempt to be there to scoot in support of her efforts, I offered Judi a ride but she has decline so far. I did put in the web address, join us if you can. http://www.marchforbabies.org/wd_regp04.asp?si=&wsid=12078&g=1&v=1&w=4796717&r=&pnum=&pname=Family+Teams+%2D+Clark+County&tid=&tnum=&tname=Family%2BTeams%2B%2D%2BClark%2BCounty&SeId=1444570&subname=March+for+Campbell+and+Jennings&walk=company&change=&other=&prefill=&u=&EditTeam=&pg=
I will put the prayer to St. Jude in here again for good friend Dianna and all our 290 brothers and sisters that have come before and built Our 290 into the organization I am so proud to have been a member of, for almost 40 years.

** For those brothers and sisters (Dianna) that are no longer with us.

REPORT:

This is also my attempt to keep track of my experiences with Kaiser Permanente and my Neurologist and his RN. so far with the Ampyra and the 4.5mg LDN, I think I'm noticeably better and it has been noticeable to others also, I did get a referral from my primary care doctor and she has referred me to get a new set of xray's for Medicare which I need to schedule soon, and maybe that will change the (normal now) Denial of benefits, and I sent off an email to my primary care Doctor, the trust attorney, and 2 of the trustee's. My BP was 123/74/64 at 3:45pm today.

I awoke this morning at 6am after 8 hours of sleep to a 3, after sleeping in my lazyboy. I took my am pills, and then checked the birdseed on the west deck, still some seed but it probably won't last the day. I am going to try to post early so there will be much repeated (surprise!) I went over to sister Danni's for her Easter egg hunt. I haven't checked my email yet today. I do plan to finish my Kaiser picket sign and take time this week to do my personal picketing, especially since there will be no more Contract Picketing, being the contract was accepted Saturday. My early prediction was wrong. Based on the discussions I listened to, and turnout at the Convention center my first prediction was that it would pass; 55% to 45%; but I was off, I think it was like 52% to 48%. I do believe the “light” turnout was due to the fact that it was Easter Saturday and did reach 70 degree's. It appears I will be having another busy week, tonight the AOH at Kells, Tuesday Congressman Schrader's breakfast and then B.T.; Thursday the 28th WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY in Salem, and then the March of Dimes walk in Vancouver, Judi will try to make it but her knee is really acting up.

Now back to my regular blog
:

I awoke this morning at 7am after 9+ hours of sleep to a 3. I took my am pills, and then checked the birdseed on the west deck, still plenty of seed but I did have to chase away a squirrel. I am going to try to post early so there will be much repeated (surprise!) I am going over to sister Danni's today and hope the rain stops for her Easter egg hunt. I haven't checked my email yet today. I do plan to finish my Kaiser picket sign and take time this week to do my personal picketing, especially since there will be no more Contract Picketing, being the contract was accepted yesterday. It appears I will be having another busy week, Monday AOH at Kells, Tuesday Congressman Schrader's breakfast and then B.T.; then Thursday the 28th WORKERS MEMORIAL DAY in Salem, and then the March of Dimes walk in Vancouver.

Don't forget the March of Dimes walk for Babies SATURDAY, on April 30th in Vancouver for sister Clare Schropshire, as we all know, I will not be able to walk but I will make every attempt to be there to scoot in support of her efforts. I did put in the web address, join us if you can. http://www.marchforbabies.org/wd_regp04.asp?si=&wsid=12078&g=1&v=1&w=4796717&r=&pnum=&pname=Family+Teams+%2D+Clark+County&tid=&tnum=&tname=Family%2BTeams%2B%2D%2BClark%2BCounty&SeId=1444570&subname=March+for+Campbell+and+Jennings&walk=company&change=&other=&prefill=&u=&EditTeam=&pg=
I will put the prayer to St. Jude in here again for good friend Dianna and all our 290 brothers and sisters that have come before and built Our 290 into the organization I am so proud to have been a member of, for almost 40 years.

** For those brothers and sisters (Dianna) that are no longer with us.

I know I still have been repeating things, apparently too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

KAISER AND M.S. REPORT:

This is also my attempt to keep track of my experiences with Kaiser Permanente and my Neurologist and his RN. so far with the Ampyra and the 4.5mg LDN, I think I'm noticeably better and it has been noticeable to others also, I did get a referral from my primary care doctor on my request to visit the chiropractor and I received the (normal now) Denial of benefits, and I sent off an email to my primary care Doctor, the trust attorney, and 2 of the trustee's. My BP was 128/76/67 at 10am today. I think, energy and time provided, I will build my picket sign from my “Walkers Walkers” sign; and undertake that action soon. I did get a copy of a GREAT letter from the trust attorney to Kaiser.

POLITICAL:

WELL DONE, PRESIDENT OBAMA; YOUR BUDGET COMPARISON WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

SENATOR JOHN ENSIGN SHOULD GO TO JAIL...........FOR A LONG TIME !!

DON'T FORGET THE NWOLC BREAKFAST WITH CONGRESSMAN KURT SCHRADER TUESDAY THE 26th – RSVP 503-235-9444.

??

DON'T FORGET, THE SOFT LANDING BILL, and thank you SENATOR PATTY MURRAY and CONGRESSMAN KURT SCHRADER for helping with it; and I am looking forward to Kurt's NWOLC breakfast next Tuesday to be able to personally thank him.

AOH REPORT:

Our last meeting was dominated by the “Unite Ireland” issue and I did remember my camera and was lucky enough get Rita's “autograph” on my February 17th photo, but forgot to get her picture. I didn't get the names down for that 15 year AOH picture yet, but maybe at Tomorrow's meeting. The first Monahan that showed up on any U. S. past history was an Ann Monahan who arrived in New York on April 5, 1848 aboard the ship “Waterloo,” at the time of the famine, and April 5th it was 163 years. ONE OF MY HERO'S! And I did get to thank Mayor Sam for the Unite Ireland resolution.

I also want to report that Uncle Hank has returned from the hospital and I spoke with his wife, my aunt; this morning (EASTER) and she told me he was 100% better, but all prayers are still appreciated.

While the Montana AOH received a Governors Proclamation with a 3 day celebration on their 125th anniversary; and a great article in my newly received AOH Newspaper; WE had a wonderful address by THE RITA O'HARE. Our City Council will be doing a very good proclamation and I do plan to try to make that Council meeting. And when and if I make the Mayor Sam NWOLC Breakfast and I did thank him personally. As I understand it the picture from our February meeting should be in an upcoming issue of the AOH Newspaper and maybe then I will get all the names for my picture. Thank You Ann Monahan for your bravery.

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice) and we need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest, that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants.

SPORTS:

The Blazer's lost their first playoff game in Dallas; I watched it and I thought they got homered, and I was not the only one, but I that second loss I will blame on the bench; and even after that first win; the bench needs to RISE UP and they did, especially Brandon.

I did see that the Portland Timbers are selling individual tickets, I believe at very reasonable prices.

I sure hope that nice golf weather comes back around and I can find a “Wally Catcher” so I can get out and practice or play, yesterday would have been perfect.

I am sure glad the baseball preseason is over. I will also still be watching the Orioles games, along with the Mariners and Cubs.

I know I am posting late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEGGY KLOKER, AND CONGRATULATIONS ARE DUE TO JIM PAULEY AND LEE WORLEY. I did get out for a haircut and returned my keno winnings to the State, I had too if I'm going to get a park named after me. I missed the “diversity” meeting at Kaiser on Interstate but I haven't heard how it turned out, probably because I haven't checked my email yet today. I did give the Mayor a BIG THANK YOU for his, and the Council's actions on the “Unite Ireland” resolution. I will be making major changes in my blog soon to cut back on much of the repeats and even rename many of my “chapters”. I will be going to the meeting at the Convention Center tomorrow at noon.

Now back to my regular blog:

I awoke this morning at 6am after 8 hours of sleep to a 3. I took my am pills, then headed out to the Breakfast with Mayor Adams and then over to 290 for the retiree meeting. I forgot to tell brother Lynn L. thanks for that GREAT support on our picket line last Thursday while I was at building trades yesterday, but I did see Bill Elzie at the Mayors breakfast today and asked him to relay the message. I am going to miss the “diversity” meeting at Kaiser on Interstate but I did bring it up with the Mayor this morning; along with my suggestions to help resolve it. I also gave Mayor Adams a BIG THANK YOU for his, and the Council's actions on the “Unite Ireland” resolution. I not only missed the diversity meeting, but I am missing the “Strike Committee” meeting tonight as I didn't see the email notice until I got home this afternoon, and I am comfortably in my Lazy Boy doing my blog right now.

Don't forget the March of Dimes walk for Babies on April 30th in Vancouver for sister Clare Schropshire, as we all know, I will not be able to walk but I will make every attempt to be there to scoot in support of her efforts. I did put in the web address, join us if you can. http://www.marchforbabies.org/wd_regp04.asp?si=&wsid=12078&g=1&v=1&w=4796717&r=&pnum=&pname=Family+Teams+%2D+Clark+County&tid=&tnum=&tname=Family%2BTeams%2B%2D%2BClark%2BCounty&SeId=1444570&subname=March+for+Campbell+and+Jennings&walk=company&change=&other=&prefill=&u=&EditTeam=&pg=
I will put the prayer to St. Jude in here again for good friend Dianna and all our 290 brothers and sisters that have come before and built Our 290 into the organization I am so proud to have been a member of, for almost 40 years.

** For those brothers and sisters (Dianna) that are no longer with us.

I know I have been repeating things, apparently too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

KAISER AND M.S. REPORT:

This is also my attempt to keep track of my experiences with Kaiser Permanente and my Neurologist and his RN. so far with the Ampyra and the 4.5mg LDN, I think I'm noticeably better and it has been noticeable to others also, I did get a referral from my primary care doctor on my request to visit the chiropractor and I received the (normal now) Denial of benefits, and I sent off an email to my primary care Doctor, the trust attorney, and 2 of the trustee. My BP was 116/66/59 at 4pam today, even after such a busy day today; maybe because I hit a 4 spot with a 3 multiplier. I think, energy and time provided, I will build my picket sign from my “Walkers Walkers” sign; and undertake that soon. I did get a copy of a GREAT letter from the trust attorney to Kaiser.

POLITICAL:

WELL DONE, PRESIDENT OBAMA; YOUR BUDGET COMPARISON WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

DON'T FORGET THE NWOLC BREAKFAST WITH CONGRESSMAN KURT SCHRADER TUESDAY THE 26th – RSVP 503-235-9444
.

OR MEANS TEST IT so those with good pensions (like union members) couldn't qualify
?

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS STILL IN AFGHANISTAN, Due back stateside soon but; IT APPEARS THAT NEPHEW RHYON WILL BE HEADED BACK IN MAY, so a prayer a day for both, from all my readers would sure make me feel better.

AOH REPORT:

Our last meeting was dominated by the “Unite Ireland” issue and I did remember my camera and was lucky enough get Rita's “autograph” on my February 17th photo, but forgot to get her picture. I didn't get the names down for that 15 year AOH picture still. THANK YOU BROTHER TOM for joining me to toast Ann on the anniversary and I did hear from Cousin Bob, the current AOH V.P. In Anaconda and I know at least they toasted her there. The first Monahan that showed up on any U. S. past history was an Ann Monahan who arrived in New York on April 5, 1848 aboard the ship “Waterloo,” at the time of the famine, and April 5th it was 163 years. ONE OF MY HERO'S! And I did get to thank Mayor Adams for the Unite Ireland resolution today.

I also want to report that Uncle Hank has returned from the hospital and I spoke with his wife, my aunt; and she told me he was 100% better, but all prayers are still appreciated.

While the Montana AOH received a Governors Proclamation with a 3 day celebration on their 125th anniversary; and a great article in my newly received AOH Newspaper; WE had a wonderful address by THE RITA O'HARE.

SPORTS:

The Blazer's lost their first playoff game in Dallas; I watched it and I thought they got homered, and I was not the only one, but I that second loss I will blame on the bench; and the bench needs to RISE UP tonight if they are going to get any further in the playoffs.

I did see that the Portland Timbers are selling individual tickets, I believe at very reasonable prices.

I sure hope that nice golf weather hangs around and I can find a “Wally Catcher” so I can get out and practice or play.

I am sure glad the baseball preseason is over. I will also still be watching the Orioles games, along with the Mariners and Cubs.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES:

Don't forget the March of Dimes Walk on April 30th in Vancouver
, for Clara Schropshires team, and I think I got the direct connection and I put it in above, I hope it's working.

CONTRACT MEETING SAURDAY, AT THE CONVENTION CENTER AT NOON
.

Thanks again to all my Sisters and Brothers for electing me to attend this years International Convention, and It appears I will be flying, but based on that letter about Intel, from the G.P. it should prove to be a very interesting Convention.
