WALLY, THE LOBBYIST ?

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3. I have some relatives in town for a regional softball tournament and I hope to catch up with them tomorrow. I am also checking the status of my NEW driver today, to find out when I can expect it. As I said before; I did get a copy of the latest “denial” letter (not a bill) from Kaiser off to Lou and I must say it was very confusing, to say the least. As of yesterday he had not heard from them. I will still be researching the “Wall Street and Bank Reforms”.

I hope cousin Mick's MRI went well yesterday. He is having some issues with his arms, and the MRI hopefully will be able to see just what is going on, please add him and cousin Mary Ellen to your prayers.

I am still impressed with the President with his handling of B.P.. Although even after sending their CEO to “Siberia” it still appears the Oil Companies have their tentacles everywhere. I still wish that his campaign statement that he was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan was higher on his priority list though. As President Eisenhower said “beware of the Military Industrial Complex.” Forty years later it sure seems they appear to be in charge, even under President Obama.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS IN AFGHANISTAN STILL, thank you for your service and you are in our prayers every day. It it appears our prayers are being heard.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I will say thank you to any and all that helped. That would be a picture of our grandfather there on the right, John L. Monahan, L for Larry? His sister, Patty Ann Sullivan is his Campaign Manager and must have done a fine job. I actually did send him a check, and saw that it had been cashed and would ask all to give what they can. (campaign H.Q. Are 400 Spruce, Anaconda, Montana 59711) Based on the fact he is in a run off they will probably still need more funds, maybe I'll get my checks from S.S. or Kaiser before November.

I know I have been repeating things, maybe too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

M.S., LDN and AMP REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, I have changed when I take it to coincide with my noon regimen. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 128/73/62 today at NOON.

Top 5 Social Security Myths

Myth #1: Social Security is going broke.
Reality: There is no Social Security crisis.  By 2023, Social Security will have a $4.6 trillion surplus (yes, trillion with a 'T').  It can pay out all scheduled benefits for the next quarter-century with no changes whatsoever.1 After 2037, it'll still be able to pay out 75% of scheduled benefits—and again, that's without any changes. The program started preparing for the Baby Boomers' retirement decades ago.2Anyone who insists Social Security is broke probably wants to break it themselves.
Myth #2: We have to raise the retirement age because people are living longer.
Reality: This is a red-herring to trick you into agreeing to benefit cuts. Retirees are living about the same amount of time as they were in the 1930s. The reason average life expectancy is higher is mostly because many fewer people die as children than they did 70 years ago.3 What's more, what gains there have been are distributed very unevenly—since 1972, life expectancy increased by 6.5 years for workers in the top half of the income brackets, but by less than 2 years for those in the bottom half.4 But those intent on cutting Social Security love this argument because raising the retirement age is the same as an across-the-board benefit cut. 
Myth #3: Benefit cuts are the only way to fix Social Security. 
Reality: Social Security doesn't need to be fixed. But if we want to strengthen it, here's a better way: Make the rich pay their fair share.  If the very rich paid taxes on all of their income, Social Security would be sustainable for decades to come.5 Right now, high earners only pay Social Security taxes on the first $106,000 of their income.6  But conservatives insist benefit cuts are the only way because they want to protect the super-rich from paying their fair share.
Myth #4: The Social Security Trust Fund has been raided and is full of IOUs
Reality: Not even close to true. The Social Security Trust Fund isn't full of IOUs, it's full of U.S. Treasury Bonds. And those bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States.7 The reason Social Security holds only treasury bonds is the same reason many Americans do: The federal government has never missed a single interest payment on its debts. President Bush wanted to put Social Security funds in the stock market—which would have been disastrous—but luckily, he failed. So the trillions of dollars in the Social Security Trust Fund, which are separate from the regular budget, are as safe as can be.
Myth #5: Social Security adds to the deficit
Reality: It's not just wrong—it's impossible! By law, Social Security's funds are separate from the budget, and it must pay its own way. That means that Social Security can't add one penny to the deficit.
Defeating these myths is the first step to stopping Social Security cuts.

If you have been following my blog you must be aware that I am not the happiest with the actions or inactions of Congress or the President but I truly believe that in his year and a half he has got more done for me and working men and women of this country than has been accomplished in decades.

I don't wonder why some in Congress are against Unemployment insurance anymore, could it be because they really believe it is welfare, which is the republican mantra! A worker pays into it and they have the gall to want it when they are out of work! I think I have it figured out...............when a congressperson leaves congress, I think they either go right to work as a lobbyist or to prison and don't need unemployment.

Am I the only one that sees a general connection between the “Tea Partiers”, the “Michigan Militia” and all the other CRAZIES out there, to the “MANSON FAMILY” and Dick Army as the new Manson?

I still need to find out how “Wall Street Reform” affects me?

I did attend the City Council, Port of Portland annexation meeting and I do believe they supported those much needed jobs.

Oregonians deserve more: a real discussion about the issues between the candidates - and grassroots campaigns that take that discussion to the doorstep.

Speaking of struggling teams, besides the Cubs and Mariners; Go Orioles; and Peter have your people keep an eye on that Mehrens kid that is playing for the S. Cal Rangers, I have been trying to follow his progress on line and he definitely has the right stuff, although his team is really struggling. Based on what I've read he will be making a wonderful closer.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES

The American Rights at Work still needs help. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, our two Senators haven't. E.F.C.A. Especially in light of that mine disaster in West Virginia and those Rig explosions in the Gulf. I watched 60 minutes and as far as I am concerned, now that the Supreme Court has ruled that Corporations must be treated as regular people as far as “Campaign Finance is concerned” shouldn't they be treated as regular people when it comes to Murder or Manslaughter? If two or more people get together to plan and commit a crime isn't that a “conspiracy”; isn't that how they got the MOB?

CHRISTOPHER IS SAFE AND WELL

I did get a lot of presents last night but the best one I got was when I got home.............get your mind out of the gutter.........it was an email from Christophers wife Candace and she did hear from him and he is well and safe. So it was definitely a HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY! I did make my trip down to Kaiser to pick up my pills yesterday and dropped off my “stone”. PORTLAND CITY COUNCIL - WE NEED THE JOBS

PERSONAL I awoke this morning at 6am today after 8+hrs of sleep to a 3. HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY WALLY! I will be making a trip down to Kaiser to pick up my pills today and drop off my “stone”. I will still be researching the “Wall Street and Bank Reforms”.

I also received news concerning my cousin Mick. He is having some issues with his arms and will be undergoing an MRI to check to see just what is going on, please add him and cousin Mary Ellen to your prayers.

I must have raised a sufficient amount of fuss, between Kaiser and Lou, but still have nothing resolved, but I did get 2 phone calls from Lou and 3 from Kaiser. I did contact my Neurologist to see which one of the 2 compound medications I could stop, he said the Aminopyridine would be the one.

JOBS NOW ! ! SUPPORT THE OREGON TAX BASE AND THE PROPOSAL FROM THE EARLY 1980's

I called the advice nurse Friday and ordered some more oxycodone and followed her advice and ordered the pills, my primary care Dr. has to OK them and I am still waiting. I will be researching the “Wall Street and Bank Reforms”. There is also a public hearing Thursday Night on the usees of a small amount of the Port of Portlands Hayden Island property. I am sure there will be many of the anti's there, most of which probably haven't had a real job in decades "Trust Fund Babies". Having lived on Hayden Island for many years I am positive their proposed use and the 1-2,000 jobs are definitely needed.

I must have raised a sufficient amount of fuss, between Kaiser and Lou, but still have nothing resolved, but I did get 2 phone calls from Lou and 3 from Kaiser. I will be contacting my Neurologist to see which one of the 2 compound medications I will stop.

I am still impressed with the President ad his handling of B.P.. Although after watching the Rachel Maddow show it sure appears the Oil Companies have their tentacles everywhere. I still wish that his campaign statement that he was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan was higher on his priority list though. As President Eisenhower said “beware of the Military Industrial Complex.” Forty years later it sure seems they are in charge, even under President Obama.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS IN AFGHANISTAN STILL, thank you for your service and you are in our prayers every day. It doesn't appear anyone has heard from him for awhile and it has us all worried.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I will say thank you to any and all that helped. This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, I have changed when I take it to coincide with my noon regimen. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 134/70/67 today at 3:10pm. I am still waiting to hear from my primary care Dr. since I mailed her Friday.

“Beware of the Military Industrial Complex”. 2 Wars and a major Oil Spill........who's in charge? I did see where that B.P. executive has been demoted and shipped off to “Siberia.”

If you have been following my blog you must be aware that I am not the happiest with the actions or inactions of Congress or the President but I truly believe that in his year and a half he has got more done for me and working men and women of this country than has been accomplished in decades.

I don't wonder why some in Congress are against Unemployment insurance anymore, could it be because they really believe it is welfare, which is the republican mantra! A worker pays into it and they have the gall to want it when they are out of work! I think I have it figured out...............when a congressperson leaves congress, I think they either go right to work as a lobbyist or to prison and don't need unemployment.

Am I the only one that sees a general connection between the “Tea Partiers”, the “Michigan Militia” and all the other CRAZIES out there, to the “MANSON FAMILY” and Dick Army as the new Manson?

I awoke this morning at 7am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3. I called the advice nurse Friday and ordered some more oxycodone and followed her advice and ordered the pills, my primary care Dr. has to OK them and I am still waiting. I will be cutting back a lot this morning as I want to research the “Wall Street and Bank Reforms”.

I must have raised a sufficient amount of fuss, between Kaiser and Lou, but still have nothing resolved, but I did get 2 phone calls from Lou and 3 from Kaiser.

I did order my new driver at least that's what Amazon told me by email and the price was down to $199 and I am supposed to receive it some time before my Birthday. From what I am hearing it's going to be too hot for awhile to play anyway. It was 60 degrees when I awoke and is supposed to get over 80 today.

EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT; IT'S TIME IS NOW

When you hear about the new health reform law these days, too much talk is focused on the political.

What I've found is that most Americans just want to know how this new law helps their families stay healthy -- and how it reduces their costs.

The first thing I tell people who ask about the Affordable Care Act is that, for moms like me, it makes our lives easier. It gives families control over their own care. And it gives us the comfort of knowing that our insurance will be there when we need it most -- especially if we get sick. Then I tell them that it gets better, but there's a lot to know. So much of what makes this law great is its emphasis on preventive care -- right now, too many people aren't getting the check-ups or the screenings they need to stay healthy. Twelve percent of kids haven't seen a doctor in the past year. And 59 million adults -- and 11 million children -- depend on an insurance plan that does not cover basic immunizations.

Health reform is changing that. Under this new law, all new private plans will provide basic preventive services -- things like childhood immunizations and checkups, mammograms, colonoscopies, cervical screenings, and treatment for high blood pressure -- absolutely free of charge. No copay. No deductible. No co-insurance needed.

And, on HealthCare.gov, you can not only learn what preventive steps will help keep your family healthy, but also what insurance coverage options are available based on your needs.

NEWS FLASH - OIL COMPANIES CONTROL WASHINGTON

I awoke this morning at 5:30am today after 7+hrs of sleep to a 3. I missed posting yesterday as I wasn't feeling well and I think I had a kidney stone and was in real bad pain all day. The pain was so bad yesterday, when I finally did get around to taking my B.P. it was scarily high. I must have raised a sufficient amount of fuss, between Kaiser and Lou, but still have nothing resolved, but I did get 2 phone calls from Lou and 3 from Kaiser.

I did order my new driver at least that's what Amazon told me by email and the price was down to $199 and I am supposed to receive it some time before my Birthday. From what I am hearing it's going to be too hot for awhile to play anyway.

My local has had a rough week also; as I have lost 3 good brothers and it was impossible for me to make any of the services yesterday.

I am still impressed with the President with his handling of B.P.. Although after watching the Rachel Maddow show last night it sure appears the Oil Companies have their tentacles everywhere. I still wish that his campaign statement that he was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan was higher on his priority list though.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I will say thank you to any and all that helped. I actually did send him a check, and saw that it had been cashed and would ask all to give what they can. (campaign H.Q. M.S., LDN and AMP REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, especially since I am starting my day with it instead of finishing the day. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 120/80/56 today at 8am.

When you hear about the new health reform law these days, too much talk is focused on the political.

What I've found is that most Americans just want to know how this new law helps their families stay healthy -- and how it reduces their costs.

The first thing I tell people who ask about the Affordable Care Act is that, for moms like me, it makes our lives easier. It gives families control over their own care. And it gives us the comfort of knowing that our insurance will be there when we need it most -- especially if we get sick. Then I tell them that it gets better, but there's a lot to know. To help, this administration has set up HealthCare.gov, where folks can see customized information about how care will improve for their families.

So much of what makes this law great is its emphasis on preventive care -- right now, too many people aren't getting the check-ups or the screenings they need to stay healthy. Twelve percent of kids haven't seen a doctor in the past year. And 59 million adults -- and 11 million children -- depend on an insurance plan that does not cover basic immunizations.

Health reform is changing that. Under this new law, all new private plans will provide basic preventive services -- things like childhood immunizations and checkups, mammograms, colonoscopies, cervical screenings, and treatment for high blood pressure -- absolutely free of charge. No copay. No deductible. No co-insurance needed.

And, on HealthCare.gov, you can not only learn what preventive steps will help keep your family healthy, but also what insurance coverage options are available based on your needs.

UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENSION PASSES

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 8:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3. I missed posting Tuesday as I was very busy chasing down my Kaiser issues without much luck. I must have raised a sufficient amount of fuss, between Kaiser and Lou, but still have nothing resolved, but I did get 2 phone calls from Lou and 3 from Kaiser yesterday. I did order my new driver yesterday, at least that's what Amazon told me by email and the price was down to $199 and I am supposed to receive it some time before my Birthday. The DOW is up today nicely, so hopefully my 401k will quit falling.
My neighbor Sergio, from across the street brought us over a beautiful Chinook Steak last night, he got it while he was out getting wood, 2 cords and a couple of Salmon; he had a great day obviously! I did also get my drivers license renewed, and handicap parking permit. After 6 trips it's done and I found out yesterday I should have been able to get it all done on that first trip a month ago.

My local has had a rough week also; as I have lost 3 good brothers and it is going to be impossible for me to make all three services.

I will keep the press announcement on the appointment of our General President and the blog address for the U.S. Trade representative.

M.S., LDN and AMP REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, especially since I am starting my day with it instead of finishing the day. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 115/60/66 at 8pm.

When you hear about the new health reform law these days, too much talk is focused on the political.

What I've found is that most Americans just want to know how this new law helps their families stay healthy,and how it reduces their costs.
The first thing I tell people who ask about the Affordable Care Act is that, for moms like me, it makes our lives easier. It gives families control over their own care. And it gives us the comfort of knowing that our insurance will be there when we need it most; especially if we get sick. Then I tell them that it gets better, but there's a lot to know. To help, this administration has set up HealthCare.gov, where folks can see customized information about how care will improve for their families.

So much of what makes this law great is its emphasis on preventive care -- right now, too many people aren't getting the check-ups or the screenings they need to stay healthy. Twelve percent of kids haven't seen a doctor in the past year. And 59 million adults, and 11 million children depend on an insurance plan that does not cover basic immunizations.

Health reform is changing that. Under this new law, all new private plans will provide basic preventive services -- things like childhood immunizations and checkups, mammograms, colonoscopies, cervical screenings, and treatment for high blood pressure, absolutely free of charge. No copay. No deductible. No co-insurance needed.

And, on HealthCare.gov, you can not only learn what preventive steps will help keep your family healthy, but also what insurance coverage options are available based on your needs.

A focus on prevention will help us to combat diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure; chronic illnesses that right now lead to seven of ten deaths in the United States and 75 percent of our national health care costs.

And it will help us tackle an issue that is dear to my heart; childhood obesity. As some of you know one of my top priorities as First Lady is the Let's Move! campaign, where we have made it our goal to put a stop to the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation, so children who are born today grow up at a healthy weight.

Each of us needs to take responsibility for our own health and the health of our families, and the new health reform law can help. That's why I'm writing today; to make sure you and Americans across the country know how their health plans are getting better day by day under reform.

I don't wonder why some in Congress are against Unemployment insurance anymore, could it be because they really believe it is welfare, which is the republican mantra! A worker pays into it and they have the gall to want it when they are out of work! Cal Rangers, I have been following his progress on line and he definitely has the right stuff, although his team is really struggling. I watched one of the segments of the Ken Burns series on baseball, two things struck me, Branch Rickey's decades of struggle to break the color barrier of Major League Baseball when he took that other multi sport kid from Pasadena City College. I checked on the website of the Southern California Ranger and they did not list Michael Ross so I hope to hear from him on what is going on.

I am also going to get me a new Driver, on Amazon it is supposed to pick me up another 20/30 yards off the tee and it's only $240.

I watched 60 minutes and as far as I am concerned, now that the Supreme Court has ruled that Corporations must be treated as regular people as far as “Campaign Finance is concerned” shouldn't they be treated as regular people when it comes to Murder or Manslaughter? If two or more people get together to plan and commit a crime isn't that a “conspiracy”; isn't that how they got the MOB?
