KITZHABER DEBATE TONIGHT

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 7:45am today after 10+hrs of sleep to a 3, with some back pain, took my pills and left out my flag last night, thankfully the street light shined brightly on it. I did to the DCTU rally yesterday afternoon downtown and it was well attended. I met Judy Shiprack and we went over to city hall to officially (again) shut down LINK with the help of Dan S. assistance. At the AOH meeting, President Bill Gallager was absent, as he had to go to San Francisco to tend to his failing health father. Please add him to your prayers. The meeting was enjoyable but short and we decided to try to get the City and State to pass a resolution supporting “united Ireland”, similar to the ones passed around the Country and use the language of the one passed in San Francisco. David O' was going to write and deliver it to the city and we believed we should have support with the Mayor and Councilman Leonard being good Irishmen. While at City Hall I was going to try to talk to Sam and Randy about it, but they went into a meeting just as we finished our LINK business at Commissioner Saltzmans. I will try to remember to send an emaill to everyone today. I missed Joe Esmonde at the AOH and the rally so I will mail him also. Being I am only 4'6 in my scooter I am easily missed. I will also try today to get to my B. of A. mortgage person as I have talked to the gentleman Grady referred me to and he said their proposal to combine looked good.
I am also going to remind you all the rest of the week about the “One Nation Working Together Rally” Saturday. I have committed to go to the satellite rally in Vancouver U.S.A. But I am also trying to find a “Wally Catcher” for golf either Friday, Saturday or Sunday, “catcher Mike” may be going fishing Saturday and I haven't heard from any of the others I sent messages to so it looks like it may have to be Sunday. I hope to report more on the place and time for Saturday's Rally, but I think they have a website with the information you can check. I also want to remind you of Oregon AFL-CIO canvass Saturday for Governor Kitzhaber and Representative Kurt Schrader at 10am from the Machinist's Lodge 24 at 3645 SE 32nd and would ask all that can to participate. If the “One Nation” Rally, the Kitzhaber, Schrader canvass and or golf does not conflict for me I will try to make them. The NWOLC and AFL-CIO are also doing get out the vote, phone banks, this week and later in October, help there if you can also. I want to suggest to all my Washington family and readers to consider an absentee ballot. If we get OUR vote out we will win. Judi will be accompanying Mary to a meeting at the beach this weekend, so my Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be relatively free (Wally Catching hopefully).
I sure hope brother Marty's trip back to Alaska, went better than the trip home, I did get a text and I will try to call Kelli and see if he got an absentee ballot.
I did redesign my front page with the picture of the Anaconda St. Paddy's day parade AOH banner. I will try to be less repetitive today as I understand my readers think I may have been too repetitive. I will ask you again, my faithful following, what YOU think I should drop?
I will keep the connection to the Komen Walk as I think they are still taking donations. I did hear from Patti at ATPA and she has left me hopeful my Kaiser issues may be on the road to resolution. I did get my new Wyden for Senate lawn sign and Kitzhaber for Governor signs up, I thought I had a Barton for Senate one in the garage, but if not I'll stop by down the street and try and get one. (A democrat corner in a R neighborhood) I did hear from Leaf Guard, as they were out of “screens” and matching colors for the down spouts, so they will be out next Monday October 4 to fix them, I don't know if we started something but I have seen a couple gutter installation trucks running through the neighborhood.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I think he can start legally campaigning this week? I will say thank you to any and all that helped. That would be a picture of our grandfather there on the right, John L. Monahan, L for Larry? His sister, Patty Ann Sullivan is his Campaign Manager and must have done a fine job. I actually did send him a check, and you can too. I would ask all to give what they can. (campaign H.Q. Are 400 Spruce, Anaconda, Montana 59711) Based on the fact he is in a run off they will probably still need more funds, maybe I'll get my checks from S.S. or Kaiser before November.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast, I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep, that in His mercy, I be judged............Good enough to keep.

**** My daily prayer, is to Mary Mother of God…..”O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, the welcoming of Uncle Sandy and good friends Bob and Jim into the house of the Lord, for the safe return of nephew Christopher from Afghanistan; good family friend Pat Percin, cousin Larry Pahut in his endeavor to become the Deer Lodge County Justice of the Peace, cousin Mick, nephew Arron, Kelli's Mom, Bills Dad, and those who are having health issues; and all in need. We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help ALL of us, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever, Amen.”
Thank You, Mother Mary, for your help and assistance, especially for BRINGING DANIEL HOME SAFELY, and protecting Christopher; for the safe delivery of Brandee's new baby girl, Mick and Gloria; and those, NOW covered with Health Care.

I know I have been repeating things, apparently too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

M.S. REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, I have changed the LDN to coincide with my noon regimen. I am experiencing better days now that I'm doing the L.D.N.. I stopped taking that brand new FDA approved pill on August 27th, Aminopyridine but I spoke with a guy whose sister has M.S. (relapsing remitting I think) and I think I she saw a marked change in her balance. She has gone from using a walker, to using a cane, to needing nothing. I understand it is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 121/79/60 at 9:35am.

POLITICAL

I am watched C-span and the R's were fighting AGAINST the setting up of a fund for the 1st responders and those affected by the 9-11 attack. That Smith jerk R-Texas is calling it a “slush fund”.

I DID MAKE THE RE-ELECT RON WYDEN FOR SENATE PICNIC AT OAKS PARK, and thank you for the personal time and your quick response. I have your sign up and my KITZHABER one also. That jerk running against Senator Wyden and running those ads appears to be attacking Senator Wyden for voting to get those of US that make less than $250,000 a tax break.
The long awaited gubenatorial debate is tonight at KGW TV's main studio on SW Jefferson, be there to support Doctor John, if you can, I'm going to try.

If you have been following the YELLOW RIBBON section I do believe that is the same Larry Roberta I reported on when nephew Daniel came back from Iraq in those moving RE-ELECT U.S. CONGRESSMAN KURT SCHRADER ads and I am definitely one that would like to see him sent back to D.C..

CHECK OUT PAST BLOGS FOR THE Top 5 Social Security Myths. I am only going to list the first one from now on, as it is the biggest, as far as I'm concerned and I will save the space.

Myth #1: Social Security is going broke.
Reality: There is no Social Security crisis. By 2023, Social Security will have a $4.6 trillion surplus (yes, trillion with a 'T'). It can pay out all scheduled benefits for the next quarter-century with no changes whatsoever. After 2037, it'll still be able to pay out 75% of scheduled benefits—and again, that's without any changes. The program started preparing for the Baby Boomers' retirement decades ago. Anyone who insists Social Security is broke probably wants to break it themselves.

The nation's retirement deficit--the gap between your current pension/retirement savings and what you should have for retirement--is a staggering $6.6 trillion. Yet there are calls to cut Social Security, fewer people have pensions and 401(k)s have been decimated. It's time to wake up Washington and tell lawmakers to keep their hands off of Social Security and fix our patchwork private retirement system.

If you have been following my blog you must be aware that I am not the happiest with the actions or inactions of Congress or the President but I truly believe that in his year and a half he has got more done for me and working men and women of this country than has been accomplished in decades and I just can't believe there are polls out there that have the Democrats behind by 10 points for the fall elections. (John Bohener as Speaker of the house), could there possibly be that many people that want to go BACK to the BUSH years? (that is in this new Contract on America)

If your looking for that little piece that was forwarded from my Uncle Hank; you will have to check a past blog, “NO, HELL NO”!

I did get 2 of my Cheryl Meyers for State Representative Lawn signs up and I hope having those 2 and 2 Mike Schauffler for State Representative signs in the yard doesn't confuse people, I imagine getting Ron's, John's and Brents signs up will alleviate that.

Best wishes DR. JOHN and good luck. Apparently KGW TV may have got the ballplayer to agree to a debate tonight, I am going to try to make it to the main studio on Jefferson. I'll believe it when I see it! I am still going to try to put an interactive link here on the blog with a message from Governor Kitzhaber.

Instead of debating the issues, The Republican candidate is still avoiding them – running glossy TV ads with empty slogans and stirring music. Oregonians deserve more: a real discussion about the issues between the candidates - and grassroots campaigns that take that discussion to the doorstep. I did see where he was complaining that the Oregon minimum wage was too high. Lets see:
NBA MIN WAGE $400,000 divided by 82 games = $8,878.05 a game =101.63 per minute = $6,000+ hr = 813 min wage workers working - One Nation Working Together, Saturday definitely needed!

Shouldn't elections at least be about the “CHARACTOR” of the candidates, not just how they will help or hurt us?

GET OUT THE VOTE, WASHINGTON RESIDENT'S DON'T TAKE A CHANCE, GET AN ABSENTEE BALLOT!

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 11am today after 12hrs of sleep to a 3, with some back pain, took my pills and put out my flag. I did to the NWOLC e-board AND the delegate meeting last night. And I did get to introduce Justin and told the delegates we hoped he would soon be a delegate. I missed seeing the other 290 delegate at the beginning of the meeting but I did get to talk to him after the meeting and he seemed very glad he will have some support if and when we get an appointment letter in.

Best wishes DR. JOHN and good luck. Apparently KGW TV may have got the ballplayer to agree to a debate on September 30th.

OREGON MINIMUM WAGE $7.50hr - NBA MINIMUM WAGE $6,000hr who do you suppose is out of touch?

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 7:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3, took my pills and put out my flag.
I did hear from Grady 4 times since Friday so she can compare and my B. of A. mortgage with a couple others.
I am also going to remind you all the rest of the week about the “One Nation Working Together Rally” Saturday. I have committed to go to the satellite rally in Vancouver U.S.A. and I hope to report more on the place and time later this week.
Delta Airlines is voting on Unionization starting Thursday and the workers are facing a very successful Union Buster, if you know someone at Delta, call them and give them the truth.
I watched the talking heads yesterday and the R's have been talking about their new “contract on America”, They are not upset with the “Wall Street” bailouts, but they sure are fired up about the Obama plan to give us Americans that make less than $250,000 a year a tax break.
I will redesign my front page with the picture of the Anaconda St. Paddy's day parade AOH banner. I am going to try to make the NWOLC tonight and see if Mike can get a hold of Lou's son in Law. I got a call Friday from Judy O'Connor and she sounded good and her and Tony were doing good. And I will report on them tonight. I will be less repetitive today and I understand my readers think I may have been too much. I will ask you again, my faithful following, what YOU think I should drop?
With Jim Pauley's retirement from the Presidency at C.P.B.T. it gave me the opportunity to add him to my HERO'S LIST which I did and tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Dianna's Life Celebration and a few Day's of Jonnalynns remeberance so I may start there. I will keep the connection to the Komen Walk and I think they are still taking donations. I will call Patti at ATPA or Lou and see what, if anything has happened on my appeal. I did get my new Wyden for Senate lawn sign and Kitzhaber signs up yesterday. (A democrat corner in a R neighborhood) I did hear from Leaf Guard, as they were out of “screens” and matching colors for the down spouts, so they will be out next Monday October 4 to fix them.

Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, the welcoming of Uncle Sandy and good friends Bob and Jim into the house of the Lord, for the safe return of nephew Christopher from Afghanistan; good family friend Pat Percin, cousin Larry Pahut in his endeavor to become the Deer Lodge County Justice of the Peace, cousin Mick, nephew Arron, Kelli's Mom, and those who are having some health issues; and all in need.

M.S., and LDN REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, I have changed when I take it to coincide with my noon regimen. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new L.D.N.. My BP is 114/74/60 at 9:45am.

POLITICAL

I DID MAKE THE RE-ELECT RON WYDEN FOR SENATE PICNIC AT OAKS PARK, and thank you for the personal time and your quick response. I have your sign up and my Kitzahaber one also. CHRIS DUDLEY, LOWER OREGONS MINIMUM WAGE, BUT NOT THE NBA'S

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 7:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3, took my pills and put out my flag. Judi, Peg and Stephanie did have a nice lunch yesterday and a little shopping and they brought me over a chaise lounge for the deck (Stephanie's B.D. present to me and it was HER B.D.) for my “star watching” on dry nights; and my cushion and cover fit it great, good thing too, cause I woke up to rain. I can get out without the worry of falling down and it is very comfortable. I did hear from Grady so she can compare and my B. of A. mortgage with a couple others, she was working on it until late Friday, yesterday and emailed me this morning too. I did go golfing with Gil as my “Catcher” and I found out I can get a O.G.A. Ghin and handicap even only playing 9 holes at a time. I figured that with my M.S. and energy levels I will only last 9 holes at a time so I will work on getting an established handicap for next years BULL. If I go under the assumption that I am a double bogey average player I had a 1 under round even with one snowman.
I have been watching the talking heads today and they have been talking about their new “contract on America”, They are not upset with the “Wall Street” bailouts, but they sure are fired up about the Obama plan to give us Americans that make less than $250,000 a year a tax break.
I did send the picture of the Anaconda St. Paddy's Day AOH banner over to Bill Gallager and I let him know that Joe Esmonde should be joining us next Tuesday. I am going to try to make the NWOLC tomorrow. I got a call Friday from Judy O'Connor and she sounded good and her and Tony were doing good. I will be repetitive today (surprise) and I understand my readers think maybe too much. I will ask you, my faithful following, what YOU think I should drop? I didn't call Patti at ATPA and see what, if anything has happened on my appeal but I did get a large book and a NEW bill from kaiser. I did get my new Wyden for Senate lawn sign and Dr. Kitzhaber for Governor signs up yesterday. (A democrat corner in a R neighborhood) I did hear from Leaf Guard, as they were out of “screens” and matching colors for the down spouts, so they will be out Monday October 4 to fix them. Senator Tom Harkin and Senator Al Franken were very eloquent in their opposition to a republican proposal to counting non voters as a no in a Union Representation election. That failed and I think they even made the point that if Senate elections were held that way there would not be a Senator in D.C. that did not carry at least 80+% of the cast ballots in their elections. If you have family in Georgia, Alabama or Wyoming especially, but ANY STATE represented by a Republican maybe you should start a campaign to change their elections to that type of process; if it was done it would be real easy to get rid of those anti democratic A%%$&*#@.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I think he can start legally campaigning this week? I will say thank you to any and all that helped. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 7:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3, took my pills and put out my flag. I did go by B. of A. and spoke with their Loan officer about combining my mortgages and lowering my monthly payments. I sent the info I got over to Grady so she can compare and she was working on it until late yesterday. She is going to call me today with any information she can come up with. Judi and Peg are off to take Stephanie to lunch for her birthday and I am going golfing this afternoon (1:30pm) at Gresham with Gil as my “Catcher” and I will take my phone with me. I did send the picture of the Anaconda St. Paddy's Day AOH banner over to Bill Gallager and I let him know that Joe Esmonde should be joining us next Tuesday. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son.

I know I have been repeating things, maybe too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

M.S., and LDN REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, I have changed when I take it to coincide with my noon regimen. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I stopped taking that brand new FDA approved pill on august 27th, Aminopyridine and I think I am be seeing a change in my balance. It was supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My BP is 112/79/59 at 9:55am.

POLITICAL

I DID MAKE THE RE-ELECT RON WYDEN FOR SENATE PICNIC AT OAKS PARK, and thank you for the personal time and your quick response. I did get your sign up. That jerk running against you and running those ads appears to be attacking you for voting to get those of us that make less than $250,000 a tax break.

I did get 2 of my Cheryl Meyers for State Representative Lawn signs up and I hope having those 2 and 2 Mike Schauffler for State Representative signs in the yard doesn't confuse people, I imagine getting Ron's and John's signs up will alleviate that.

Best wishes DR. JOHN and good luck. Apparently KGW TV may have got the ballplayer to agree to a debate on September 30th.

Do you think he realizes that the Oregon minimum wage is LESS than the NDA minimum?
YELLOW RIBBON SECTION

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS IN AFGHANISTAN STILL BUT SURE SOUNDED GOOD ON THE PHONE. Thank you for your service and you are in our prayers every day. It does appear our prayers are being heard.

ONE RIBBON STILL UP, FOR CHRISTOPHER, be safe, hurry home, and it was great to hear from you.

Please check the sites I have under YELLOW RIBBON as they all could use help.

If you are flying the American Flag, please keep flying it until ALL our Troops return home.

Speaking of struggling teams, besides the Cubs and Mariners and Orioles; Peter you may have your people keep an eye on that Mehrens kid that should be playing fall ball for the S. Cal Rangers, I have been trying to follow his progress on line and he definitely has the right stuff, based on what I've read he will be making a wonderful closer.

BOB SHIPRACK; THANKS FOR YOUR DECADES OF SERVICE

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 6:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3, took my pills and put out my flag. I didn't make Shiprack's party yesterday afternoon. I guess I was confused as I thought that Lynn L. was going to call to ride with me but I didn't get a call so I missed the Salem gathering, but Judi went with Mary and had a good time. I went up to Lacenter and I was going to try to catch Marty I tried texting Marty but he had left his phone in Kelli's car so he didn't get the message until I got home. I had dinner and got a little play in and I now have a new casino players card. She did say they would try to do another function in Portland and hopefully I can make that one. I did go by B. of A. and spoke with their Loan officer about combining my mortgages and lowering my monthly payments. I will send the info I got over to Grady so she can compare. With Jims retirement from the Presidency at C.P.B.T. it gave me the opportunity to add him to my HERO'S LIST as I planned too anyway and I did that. As it has been over a year since we lost Dianna and I did put Jonnalynn's eloquent remembrance on the front page again I will add her to my W.O.W. (women of wisdom) list and I did get the connection to the Komen Walk and they are still taking donations. I didn't call Patti at ATPA and see what, if anything has happened on my appeal but I will try today. I didn't get my new Wyden for Senate lawn sign or Kitzhaber signs up yesterday but Marty said he might try to come by today and maybe I can enlist him to put them up. I did hear from Leaf Guard as they were out of “screens” and matching colors for the down spouts and they will be out October 4th. Senator Tom Harkin and Senator Al Franken were very eloquent in their opposition to counting non voters as a no in a Union Representation election.

W.O.W LIST AND HERO'S LIST ADDITIONS

PERSONAL

I slept in this morning until 7:45am today after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3, took my pills and put out my flag. I went to the Building Trades yesterday and gave a MOVING speech and congratulations & condolences to the new executive secretary. I also asked Kevin from the Iron Workers if the resignation of Jim Pauley was because of the election results. He told me that was not the case, he just needed him more in the office as they have been short staffed and his obligations as B.T. President took too much time away from his local. That made me feel good that it was not due to the election results and I offered to assist him and his local anyway I could. With the Jim Pauley retirement from the Presidency it gives me the opportunity to add him to my HERO'S LIST as I planed too anyway. As it has been over a year since we lost Dianna and I did put Jonnalynn's eloquent remembrance on the front page again I will add her to my W.O.W. (women of wisdom) list and I did get the connection to the Komen Walk and they are still taking donations. I did call Patti at ATPA and haven't heard from her yet. With my sign up for the Kaiser advantage I now have my new Kaiser card. I have received 2 phone calls welcoming me to Kaiser and I had to tell that wonderful young woman I have been a Kaiser member for the better part of 40 years, I hope the trust can resolve my issue. I did get my new Wyden for Senate lawn sign and 3 Kitzhaber signs I will put it up today. I still have to call Leaf Guard as they were out of “screens” and matching colors for the down spouts and I should remove their sign in the yard as they are technically not complete until then. I also got an e-mail from Mick and his spirits seem up and he is working to get back to playing golf.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears to me now that they are not alone. Keep up the heat.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I think he can start legally campaigning this week? I will say thank you to any and all that helped.
