PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 7am and after 9+ hours of sleep, I awoke to a 3, and took at 7:15am. I am going to try to work on my “movie/book” today and my “Shadow Box”, so I am not sure when I will post. I did get an email off to the Trust Attorney and Billy and Al to get on the agenda for the March 6 Trust meeting being that my question to Kaiser membership services did not leave me much hope to get help from them for a new bed, so I can stop sleeping in my Lazy Boy recliner for a good night's sleep. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on Saturday, I haven't filled my table yet, but I am still working on it. Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs, so I need to get another 2 to fill our table. I am not sure when I will post because I hope to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog today also, because I want to wish cousin Chad Jacques a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”, being he is a leap year baby I am not sure if he is 9 or 10 this year.;-) The DOW finished over 13,000 yesterday but the “WALL STREET” “DOW” republicans are taking profit's again today. I think mostly because they do not want “ANY” good news under President Obama's watch. I also did see that Charlie Hales received the endorsement of former Mayor Vera Katz, and I posted on his face book page I thought that was quite the “Cudo” because I believed she was the last rel good Mayor Portland had, don't worry brother Chuck, I still think Mayor Bud is right up there also. I am still trying to cut back this blog, the Mehrens/Monahan blog and my daily “novel” writing to 600 words or less.

KAISER – M.S. REPORT:
My B.P. today is 132/76/59 at 8:30am, pretty good, I think anyway. I did also contact Kaiser for help with a new bed that will get me out of my Lazy Boy for a good night's sleep. I am going to appeal to the Trust at their March 6 meeting My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

***CHARLIE HALES RECEIVES VERA KATZ'S ENDORSEMENT***

I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd, I hope I have my table filled, Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs cousin Bill and Kara can't make it but I did contact another good Irish Catholic to fill out the table, but he will be golfing at Bandon Dunes, so I need to get another 2 to fill our table. I am not sure when I will post because I hope to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog today also. The DOW finished above 13,000 today finally. I also did see that Charlie Hales received the endorsement of former Mayor Vera Katz, and I posted on his face book page I thought that was quite the “Cudo” because I believed she was the last rel good Mayor Portland had, don't worry brother Chuck, I still think Mayor Bud is right up there also. I am still trying to cut back this blog, the Mehrens/Monahan blog and my daily “novel” writing to 600 words or less.

***HAPPY BIRTHDAY COUSIN JOE***
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 7am and after just 8+ hours of sleep with a short interuption, to be reported on later, then I took my am pills at 8 am. I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I had another late night last night, as we went across the street to Shelly and Gary's for Oscar night, I thought “Money Ball”, “The Help”, and the “Girl with the Dragon Tatoo” were going to do better, they were the ones I saw and maybe my love of baseball and admiration for Phillip Seymore Hoffman and Brad Pitt carried too much weight in my decision, but I also new Meryl Streep and George Cooney, would definitely have a good showing. My short interuption in sleep was because I had a dream and started to write my own movie/screenplay/novel ? I had a lot of pain last night because of the time in my ancle brace. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I hope I have my table filled, Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs cousin Bill and Kara cant make it but I did contact another good Irish Catholic to fill out the table. I am not sure when I will post, because I have a couple of errand's to run and I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog today, as I missed yesterday but I also need to work on my “novel” :-). The Family dinner on St. Patrick's Day does sound wonderfull.
I have my “shadow box” and will start putting it together, being the Mehrens family has 431+- years in the United association from Portland, Oregon to Iron Mountain, Michigan! I know this may be considered an unnessesary repeat but, I am sooo proud.

I awoke this morning at 7am and after just 8+ hours of sleep with a short interuption, to be reported on later, then I took my am pills at 8 am. I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I had another late night last night, as we went across the street to Shelly and Gary's for Oscar night, I thought “Money Ball”, “The Help”, and the “Girl with the Dragon Tatoo” were going to do better, they were the ones I saw and maybe my love of baseball and admiration for Phillip Seymore Hoffman and Brad Pitt carried too much weight in my decision, but I also new Meryl Streep and George Cooney, would definitely have a good showing. My short interuption in sleep was because I had a dream and started to write my own movie/screenplay/novel ? I had a lot of pain last night because of the time in my ancle brace. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I hope I have my table filled, Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs cousin Bill and Kara cant make it but I did contact another good Irish Catholic to fill out the table. I am not sure when I will post, because I have a couple of errand's to run and I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog today, as I missed yesterday but I also need to work on my “novel” :-). The DOW is up over 13,000 again today. I think I will challenge myself to cut back this blog, the Mehrens/Monahan blog and my daily “novel” writing to 600 words or less.

My B.P. Today is 121/72/67 at 8:45am pretty good considering the late night last night. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

***THE OSCAR'S TONIGHT, SHOULD THEY CHANGE THE NAME TO THE CLOONEY'S ?***
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 7am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I had a late night last night, as Heidi and Brandon came over for dinner, and I was actually pretty rude because FINALLY at about 11pm I had to ask her to please go home. I had a lot of pain from because of so much time in my ancle brace. They didn't arrive until after 7:30pm, so we ate late, but we did play some dice and had a lot of fun. I took my am pills today at 8am, and I was quite bothered that they didn't come over until late and left even later. I was twice bothered because I didn't get to confession yesterday or to Mass this morning. But I did watch Mass on the T.V. this morning from a small church in Alabama, officiated by a Father Anthony Mary and it was wonderfull. We are also planning to go over to Shelly and Gary's to watch the "Oscars" tonight. We did make it to Earl's kick off event downtownThursday night and it was a great event. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I hope I have my table filled, Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs cousin Bill and Kara cant make it but I did contact another good Irish Catholic to fill out the table. I am not sure when I will post, because this wonderfull microsoft program was helping me out (NOT!), and I lost all my updated changes and had to go back and get my 2-24-12 to start over; but I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today also. I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized at the Union Meeting and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I did get to the store and found a “Shadow Box” that I think everything will fit in. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year and the “BULL” ladies contacted me and I asked them to let me know what they needed from me was messed up about my “tax write off”, I messed up because I couldn't attend the Dinner and Auction and gave those tickets to brother Mike, I did respond to them that I would still like to play in the 2012 tourney and I hope they get get back to me and I will try not to mess it up again.
I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update my "Mehrens/Monahan blog also.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
Senator Merkley, Senator Sherrod Brown and Congressman Blumenhauer, among many others think it is time for a constitutional Ammendment to reverse the Supreme Court's selling of our democracy in their “Citizens United Case” rulling and the selling of our democracy, I absolutely agree and with the state of Montana taking them on; it makes me proud to be from Montana. I absolutely agree!!
I am still a Ron Wyden for U.S. Senator from Oregon supporter, but we do need to review his “Free Trade” stand.

***CONGRATULATIONS UNCLE/BROTHER HANK BURGESS, WHAT A WONDERFULL HONOR***
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 8am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 3. I took my am pills at 8am. I did make it to neighbor Gary's poker party and had a lot of fun. I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today and I have a couple of errands to run so I can't be sure when I will post, It will depend on how “helpfull” microsoft program works. (NOT) I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I do have a lead on a hobby store around here today to find a “Shadow Box”, one od my errands today I hope. I awoke to a 3 because I got a great night's sleep last night, and even with the wearing of my brace yesterday. I was not the “big winner” in the game last night, but I did meet one of Gary's rigger workmates that works with nephew Steve. Heidi, Brandon and Danni are coming over for dinner tonight and I will give the scholarship applications that Billy sent me to Danni for grand niece Demi. I also hope to rework the blog and get rid of most all of the capital letters.
I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

MY B.P. TODAY IS 116/84/64 at 10:45am, pretty good I think because of the good night's sleep last night. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

GET WELL BROTHER JIMMY WALTERS
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 7am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I awoke with a lot of pain in my right foot because of so much time in my ancle brace. I took my am pills at 7:15am. We did make it to Earl's kick off event downtown last night and it was a great event. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I “think” I have my table filled now, Judi and I, Charlie and guest, cousin Bill and Kara?, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs. I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today as I sorta messed it up yesterday, thank's to my “helpfull” microsoft program. (NOT) I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I do have a lead on a hobby store around here today to find a “Shadow Box”. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year and the “BULL” ladies contacted me and I was messed up about my “tax write off”, I messed up because I couldn't attend the Dinner and Auction and gave those tickets to brother Mike, I did respond to them that I would still like to play in the 2012 tourney and I hope they get get back to me and I will try not to mess it up again.
I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update that blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.
I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front, and thank you all for Rhyon and Christopher and now cousin Amy.

MY B.P. TODAY IS 121/76/55 at 10:15am pretty good considering the pain I woke up with in my foot. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

SHE ALSO SAID SHE RECIEVED A DISTURBING PHONE POLL, ABOUT ABORTION LAST NIGHT; I TOLD HER IT WAS PROBABLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT “NEWT” WAS IN SEATTLE YESTERDAY.

PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 7:30am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, the 2+ because I slept a little better and awoke to a return phone call from cousin Billy. I took my am pills at 8:00am. I did make it to Ash Wednesday's Mass at church in Milwaukie last night and I thought the service was awesome, the church was packed, and the mass was given in both english and spanish; and I think the attendee's were 90% plus hispanic. I did pick up the current issue of the Catholic Sentinel and there was a letter in there warning fellow catholic's of a despicable promotion mailer sent to many catholic subscribers, encouraging them to to join with an "organization" that was nothing more than "super pac" for republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich.
I am also trying to get my table filled for the AOH Mary Nolan event on March 3rd.
I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today and report on my AOH meeting again. I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. I also recieved notice of the passing of U.A. brother Charlie Miles Son, Please add them to your prayers. I will try today to see if there is a hobby store around here today to find a “Shadow Box”. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year and he told me Ed Ellis would be getting in touch with me.
I also received an email from Brother/Uncle, Hank Burgess and he had actually reviewed my Mehrens/Monahan blog, and was quite impressed and reiterated that it was the Wallace side of the family that was from Tuam, and Gerald at Kell's did comment that he appreciated the emails I have been sending out.
I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update that blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

My B.P. today is 136/77/61 at 1pm not too bad considering being so busy the last few day's, but I think it is because I got a good sleep last night. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
The time will come when Sherrod is going to call me and ask if we have the resources to respond to an attack.
And if my answer has to be “no,” it’ll be too late.

***HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BROTHER MARTY ;-)***
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 6am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, the 2+ because I didn't sleep really well, and went to my AOH meeting last night, so I took my am pills at 6:30am. I missed posting yesterday because it was a busy day. I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog today and report on the meeting last night. I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I still need to see if there is a hobby store around here to find a “Shadow Box” because Mike J. didn't make the retiree meeting and I forgot to ask him about it at the Union meeting. I did forget to take a M.S. Packet to KELL'S. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year. He was going to contact Ed Ellis.
I also received an email from Brother/Uncle, Hank Burgess and he had actually reviewed my Mehrens/Monahan blog, and was quite impressed and reiterated that it was the Wallace side of the family that was from Tuam, and Gerald at Kell's did comment that he appreciated the emails I have been sending out.
I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update that blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
The time will come when Sherrod is going to call me and ask if we have the resources to respond to an attack.
And if my answer has to be “no,” it’ll be too late.

PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I awoke this morning at 5am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, the 2+ because I didn't sleep really well so I took my am pills at 6:30am. I spoke with sister Danni yesterday and she told me that nephew-in-law Mike Shostek got a new GOOD job in North Dakota, and he and Heidi would be moving. I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. We received our Voter's notice from the County and found out we are no longer in Congressman Blumenhauer's district, but in Congressman Schrader's. I still need to see if there is a hobby store around here to find a “Shadow Box” because Mike J. didn't make the retiree meeting and I forgot to ask him about it at the Union meeting. I did leave a M.S. Packet at the front desk at the Hall with Charise. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss, to see if the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year, I had to leave him a message so I will try to email Ed Ellis, I never did receive a donation notice from last year for my taxes. Judi did also organize our 2011 tax stuff, and I need to get to work on that for our accountant.
I also received an email from Brother/Uncle, Hank Burgess and he had actually reviewed my Mehrens/Monahan blog, and was quite impressed and reiterated that it was the Wallace side of the family that was from Tuam.
I am really looking forward to our A.O.H. Meeting Tommorrow night, I just hope the weather cooperates. I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

My appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
The time will come when Sherrod is going to call me and ask if we have the resources to respond to an attack.
And if my answer has to be “no,” it’ll be too late.

***2 NEW SPECIAL EDITIONS "WELL EARNED" TO MY ZERO LIST***
PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:
I slept late again this morning until 9am, after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, the 2+ the last couple day's was because I have done a lot of walking with my brace. I then took my am pills. I awoke to a 2+ because today because I walked across the street to play cards with neighbor Gary, while Judi, Peg and Shelly went to a sea food fundraiser with shelly for one of her workers churches. I did make the Union Meeting Friday night, and it was packed, 300+ members I think. Thank You, again; Brother Bob Porter for allowing me to participate in the opening ritual. It was a great meeting and I thought Al did a great job with his presentation on what to do with the April raise, and President Porter ran a very controlled meeting, but I wish I would have had a minute to talk with Brother Buddy Nissing because he did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I did find out that a lot of the members were very upset with Senator Wyden and Congressman Blumenhauer over their stances on “free trade” and the President's signing of a new bill that seemed to fly in the face of his “E.F.C.A.” stance? We received our Voter's notice from the County and found out we are no longer in Congressman Blumenhauer's district, but in Congressman Schrader's. I still need to see if there is a hobby store around here to find a “Shadow Box” because Mike J. didn't make the retiree meeting and I forgot to ask him about it at the Union meeting. I did leave a M.S. Packet at the front desk at the Hall with Charise. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I will have to contact Ed Ellis and/or Jim Moss; to see if the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year? Judi did also organize our 2011 tax stuff, and I better get to work on that for our accountant.
I also received an email from Brother/Uncle, Hank Burgess and he had actually reviewed my Mehrens/Monahan blog, and was quite impressed and reiterated that it was the Wallace side of the family that was from Tuam.
I am really looking forward to our A.O.H. Meeting Tuesday, I just hope the weather cooperates. I did put the “WALLY'S WALKERS” link on my Mehrens/Monahan blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

MY B.P. TODAY IS 152/89/85 at 10:45am, too high; but I think that is because I have spent soo much time with my brace on and walking around. The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
The time will come when Sherrod is going to call me and ask if we have the resources to respond to an attack.
And if my answer has to be “no,” it’ll be too late.

H. R. 3094 – Workplace Democracy and Fairness Act

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
The time will come when Sherrod is going to call me and ask if we have the resources to respond to an attack.
And if my answer has to be “no,” it’ll be too late.
That’s why meeting our goals now is so important – and why I hope you’ll click here, while we still have time, to help us get to $120,000 by February 29th.
I know it’s a little grim to think about, but that’s the worst-case scenario. And by acting now you can make the difference.
