PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:

I awoke this morning at 7am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I awoke with a lot of pain in my right foot because of so much time in my ancle brace. I took my am pills at 7:15am. We did make it to Earl's kick off event downtown last night and it was a great event. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I “think” I have my table filled now, Judi and I, Charlie and guest, cousin Bill and Kara?, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs. I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today as I sorta messed it up yesterday, thank's to my “helpfull” microsoft program. (NOT) I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I do have a lead on a hobby store around here today to find a “Shadow Box”. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year and the “BULL” ladies contacted me and I was messed up about my “tax write off”, I messed up because I couldn't attend the Dinner and Auction and gave those tickets to brother Mike, I did respond to them that I would still like to play in the 2012 tourney and I hope they get get back to me and I will try not to mess it up again.

I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update that blog also.
I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front, and thank you all for Rhyon and Christopher and now cousin Amy.

KAISER – M.S. REPORT:

MY B.P. TODAY IS 121/76/55 at 10:15am pretty good considering the pain I woke up with in my foot. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

POLITICAL:

MY POLITICAL REPORT IS BASICLY A REPORT ON THE BLUMENHAUER CAMPAIGN KICK OFF, EVEN THOUGH KURT SCHRADER IS OUR NEW CONGRESSMAN; SO PLEASE MAKE USE OF HIS CAMPAIGN LINK, WE SURE DO NOT NEED “A BUSH'S BRAIN” CANDIDATE REPRESENTING US.

I ALSO SPOKE WITH SISTER DANNI THIS MORNING AND SHE DID POINT OUT THAT SHE WATCHED THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE ON ASH WEDNESDAY, AND NOTICED THAT, WHILE MANY IN THE AUDIENCE STILL HAD THEIR ASHES ON THEIR FOREHEAD NONE OF THE “CATHOLIC CANDIDATES” DID. SHE ALSO SAID SHE RECIEVED A DISTURBING PHONE POLL, ABOUT ABORTION LAST NIGHT; I TOLD HER IT WAS PROBABLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT “NEWT” WAS IN SEATTLE YESTERDAY.

THE BLUMENHAUER FUNCTION WAS WONDERFULL, I DID GET TO SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE I HAVEN'T SEEN IN A LONG TIME, AND EARL WAS GREAT. I DIDN'T REALIZE HE HAD BEEN IN PUBLIC SERVICE FOR 40 YEARS. HE WAS GRATIOUS ENOUGH TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME, BY THE “NEXT PORTLAND MAYOR” CHARLIE HALES WITH MY PHONE. HE HAS 40 YEARS IN PUBLIC SERVICE, AND I WILL HAVE BEEN A U.A. MEMBER 40 YEARS IN JULY. I DO REALLY LOVE THE GUY, BUT I WILL NOT WEAR ONE OF THOSE DARN BYCICLES.

NOTHING MORE, ON THE DISTURBING NEWS ABOUT THE BILL PRESIDENT OBAMA SIGNED THAT SOME ARE CALLING ANTI-UNION; BUT UNTIL I GET CONFIRMATION....

THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA; THE EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT, AND THE END OF THE WAR IN IRAQ ? BUT WE STILL NEEED THOSE KEYSTONE PIPELINE JOBS, BUT IT APPEARS THE REPUBLICANS STOPPED HIM FROM BEING ABLE TO GET THAT DONE BY PUTTING AN UNREALISTIC TIME FRAME ON HIM TO “GET ALL THE SAFETY ISSUES RESOLVED”, BUT I DO BELIEVE IT WILL BE REVISITED IN HIS SECOND TERM, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE REPUBLICAN'S APPEAR TO BE DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO INSURE HIS RE-ELECTION.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.
