I awoke this morning at about 7:45am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 3 and took my am pills, even without the geese. I did email (I hope) that picture Judi took to Cory Devine, the “author”, I still haven't heard if she got it yet? I STILL NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT TIME LEO MCGUIGAN'S FUNERAL IS ON SATURDAY THE 18TH AT HOLY CROSS, PLEASE ADD HIS FAMILY TO YOUR PRAYERS. I am still working on changing the whole blog and I did add a new section, FAMILY”. I did get by the photo shop and I couldn't get cousin Bob's picture off my phone but I did get the other family pictures copied for my shadow box. Judi and I did make it to dinner last night with Mike and Mary B. to celebrate our anniversary. I am not sure when I will post, after all IT IS SUPERBOWL SUNDAY. I also got an email from the M.S. Walk people wanting to know if I would like to walk or be a “Walk Captain”, I think Judi would be ticked after all the work she has done to get “Wally's Walkers” going, but I do need to get a hold of them to get some envelopes. I did re-check the M.S. WALK link here on the front page and I'm pretty sure it it does work so you can donate directly to “WALLY'S WALKER'S”, and you can donate directly to the team or any team member you might desire, or even join in the Walk. I also want to remind everyone about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. KAISER – M.S. REPORT:

MY B.P. TODAY IS 117/89/59 at 10am. My appointment with my neurologist went well and he is changing some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working with the new prescription.

I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THE RECALL EFFORT'S IN WISCONSIN HAVE TURNED IN OVER A MILLION SIGNATURES, AND I JUST WATCHED A GREAT UTUBE VIDEO THAT WAS POSTED ON THE OUR 290 FACE BOOK PAGE, IT WASN'T THE WEAVERS; BUT YOU COULD CONSIDER IT AN UPDATED VERSION OF “SOLIDARITY FOREEVER” . I'M THINKING AN EFFORT IN ARIZONA AND OHIO COULD HAVE THE SAME SUCCESS :-).

THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA; THE EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT, AND THE END OF THE WAR IN IRAQ ? BUT WE STILL NEEED THOSE KEYSTONE PIPELINE JOBS, BUT IT APPEARS THE REPUBLICANS STOPPED HIM FROM BEING ABLE TO GET THAT DONE THIS TERM BY PUTTING AN UNREALISTIC TIME FRAME ON HIM TO “GET ALL THE SAFETY ISSUES RESOLVED” . I REALLY WONDER IF THEY REALIZE EACH STUPID ACTION THEY TAKE HELPS ENSURE HIS REELECTION.

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice). We need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants. This battle for justice that is being waged here in the U.S.A. by father McManus is also being waged in Belfast Northern Ireland by a heroic Belfast protestant named Raymond McCord Sr., whose son was also assassinated. I have received Father McManus's book and it was signed by our New Assistant G.P., and I now have a better understanding of commissioner Fritz's racist Animosity towards the Irish and apparently New Jersey has it's own racist. I did send Father McManus a check to join his efforts and he sent me a thank you and I am now a Congressional friend of Father McManus, and yes Holmie, I do have your letter to join.

I do have MY signed copy of from Belmullet to Anaconda and it is super cool, and based on what cousin Dan found out about the Monahan's, and what I was told about the Wallace's (Gramma Bossie family) being from Tuam, north of Galway also Bab's and Mernie's kids and Mom and Dad's kids may share more gene's than we even thought, and I have begun to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog. Brother Marcraft and Brother Duffy, get ready for your surprise!
