PERSONAL & PROPAGANDA:

I awoke this morning at 7am and after 9+ hours of sleep I awoke to a 2+, just a 2+ because I had a late night last night, as Heidi and Brandon came over for dinner, and I was actually pretty rude because FINALLY at about 11pm I had to ask her to please go home. I had a lot of pain from because of so much time in my ancle brace. They didn't arrive until after 7:30pm, so we ate late, but we did play some dice and had a lot of fun. I took my am pills today at 8am, and I was quite bothered that they didn't come over until late and left even later. I was twice bothered because I didn't get to confession yesterday or to Mass this morning. But I did watch Mass on the T.V. this morning from a small church in Alabama, officiated by a Father Anthony Mary and it was wonderfull. We are also planning to go over to Shelly and Gary's to watch the "Oscars" tonight. We did make it to Earl's kick off event downtownThursday night and it was a great event. I did also invite Charlie Hales to the AOH, Mary Nolan event on March 3rd. I hope I have my table filled, Judi and I, Charlie? and guest, Joe Esmonde and Paul Riggs cousin Bill and Kara cant make it but I did contact another good Irish Catholic to fill out the table. I am not sure when I will post, because this wonderfull microsoft program was helping me out (NOT!), and I lost all my updated changes and had to go back and get my 2-24-12 to start over; but I will also try to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog again today also. I still need to contact Brother Buddy Nissing or his son Wade because Buddy did mention his wife Judy was hospitalized at the Union Meeting and I really wish I had found out more. Please add her to your prayers. I did get to the store and found a “Shadow Box” that I think everything will fit in. I also received a notice of “opportunities” to get into the “BULL SESSION” dinner and program, I did call Jim Moss and he did say the cost for the “union members” is the same as last year and the “BULL” ladies contacted me and I asked them to let me know what they needed from me was messed up about my “tax write off”, I messed up because I couldn't attend the Dinner and Auction and gave those tickets to brother Mike, I did respond to them that I would still like to play in the 2012 tourney and I hope they get get back to me and I will try not to mess it up again.

I'm not sure when I will post today because I will also try to update my "Mehrens/Monahan blog also.

I also forgot to remember to let everyone know about Brother Don Getman and the annual M.D. Poker fundraiser; April 1st up by the inn at the mountain. He did ask that I get the word out and invite any that might be interested. If you are interested and can make it give either Don or me a call.

I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front, and thank you all for Rhyon and Christopher and now cousin Amy.

KAISER – M.S. REPORT:

My B.P. today is 130/76/70 at 12:45pm pretty good considering the late night last night. My last appointment with my neurologist went well and he changed some of my medications and he scheduled a new appointment for March 22nd to see how the new regimen is working, he did warn me one of the side affects may be some crazy dream's; and I must say they have been.

POLITICAL:

Nothing more on the disturbing news, that some are calling the bill signed by President Obama; anti-union but until I get confirmation...........

Thank You you President Obama for a) your statement on E.F.C.A, and b) the “end of the war in Iraq”, But we still need those Keystone pipeline Job's, but I do believe the roadblocks the republican's have been putting on him are working to insure his re-election!

The Administration opposes H.R. 3094 because it would undermine and delay workers’ ability to exercise their right to choose whether or not to be represented by a union. H.R. 3094 also attacks the freedom of individuals to choose the co-workers with whom they wish to seek representation.

Senator Merkley, Senator Sherrod Brown and Congressman Blumenhauer, among many others think it is time for a constitutional Ammendment to reverse the Supreme Court's selling of our democracy in their “Citizens United Case” rulling and the selling of our democracy, I absolutely agree and with the state of Montana taking them on; it makes me proud to be from Montana. I absolutely agree!!

I am still a Ron Wyden for U.S. Senator from Oregon supporter, but we do need to review his “Free Trade” stand.

Jim McDermott for Congress in Washinton (D), because we need the change in the house so he would be chair of the House Appropriations Committee.

The American Rights at Work still needs help; now more than ever. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, The President?, and our two Senators haven't; E.F.C.A. And based on what I have been seeing and hearing, the Republicans have Organized Labor directly in their cross hairs at least for the next 2 years.

UNION REPORT:

We still to remember Brother Jimmy Walters is recovering from vascular sergery but, please add him to your prayers for a speedy and successful recovery.

It is the political season and I would encourage all you politico's to get a “Union Bug” on your printed material. I personally prefer Hollywood Impress, because they have always met my needs.
