WELOCME BACK TO PORTLAND PRESIDENT OBAMA !!!



I woke up a little after 6am, because my alarm was reset to be sure to make the Blumenhauer Breakfast yesterday, unfortunately foe me, the Blumenhauer breakfast is not until next Monday. :-( I got dressed and went to the C.P.B.T. Meeting and was early for it too, but not quite a week. :-) I am posting late today because I just got back from there and didn't post at all yesterday because I did a lot of running.



I am still slowly in the process of designing my own “for profit” business. “WALLY'S LIST”, and I am still waiting to hear from Good Friend and W.O.W. Woman Liz Schuler on face book to make sure I get it right.



I am still working on correcting mistakes, NOT ALL OF THESE ARE MINE YOU KNOW !!



APPEARS I NEED AN ELECTRICTAN AS THE POWER IN THE KITCHEN WENT AWAY AGAIN :-( .



As I said I awoke this morning at 6am to a 2+, after 8+- hours of sleep. My B.P. is 135/71/68 at 1:44pm, I think it might have been better because I took it before my pills and before my bottle of 5 hour energy after 8am. I am still waiting to hear from Kaiser regarding my pill regimen and the energy drink, my “health care team” e mailed me and they said I need to hear from my primary care Dr.?



POLITICAL:


WELCOME BACK TO PORTLAND PRESIDENT OBAMA, I HOPE YOUR RECEPTION IS AS GOOD AS THE LAST TIME ON THE WATERFRONT; AT LEAST I COULD BE AT THAT ONE AND IT WAS AWESOME !





Judi has received HER OBAMA BIDEN 2012 bumper sticker, I'm still waiting for mine though.





I am going to try to make the Congressman Blumenhauer breakfast NEXT MONDAY at Westmoreland Union Manor.





I must also say we have much to do before the November elections, but I will also say, as a life-long Democrat; it does appear we will have a real coordinated campaign this year. THANK YOU ASHLEY.

I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front, especially for sister Danni; and thank you all for Rhyon, Christopher, cousin Amy, cousin Brandee and soon, nephew Rhett..

Prayer to St. Jude for Eternal Life


You are my solace, St. Jude, in the face of loss and sorrow. I pray that you will guide my heart away from the darkness of fear and into the light of Christ. May the hope that St. Jude keeps alive in my heart be a source of comfort to all those who grieve. For in that hope, we know God's mercy, and we trust God's promise of eternal life. My soul longs for the fullness of life, which is only to be revealed when I meet my Maker in heaven. Stay by my side, St. Jude, so that my soul will always know the power of your healing love. Amen.

My daily prayer, is to Mary Mother of God…..”O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today. For sister Danni, nephews Steve & Daniel, cousin Dennis, sister Mary and Aunt Mary and those who are having health issues; protecting Christopher, Rhyon, Brandee, Amy and Rhett, and all in need, and the repose of the soul of cousin Dan Monahan's sister-in-law, Patricia. We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help ALL of us, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever, Amen.”





I did return the book to the church library, “BECOMMING MORE LIKE CHRIST”; it is a basic guide to daily prayer and meditation and it has been uncanny in the assistance it has given me almost daily. I still think all those, so called, Christians in congress could use a copy of that book!





I BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST WAS THE FIRST “TRUE” COMMUNIST, BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WAS THE FIRST TO SAY; EVERYTHING “BELONGS” TO EVERYONE. In that same vain does that not include healthcare? I have been to confession and told the priest I was disturbed at the stand the church was taking on the National Health Care debate and he actually included it in his homily.





ARE “ALL” WOMEN & UNION MEMBERS THAT ARE REPUBLICANS JUST STUPID ?”

(rhetorical question), THAT MEANS, I KNOW THE ANSWER.




COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES:


The American Rights at Work still needs help; now more than ever. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, The President?, and our two Senators haven't; E.F.C.A. And based on what I have been seeing and hearing, the Republicans have Organized Labor directly in their cross hairs.


The Local 290 “DON SALEE” Member Assistance Program; and you can even make a donation through the U.A. Credit Union, and we will be doing a “BULL SESSION” drawing at the Union meeting's to help raise $ for them and I have sent in my 1st installment for me, and I sure hope we get some good weather so I can actually attend with an official, established handicap.



UNION REPORT:



I spoke with Billy and he was crediting me with the meeting being over before 10pm, just because of my short rousing speech.

I did hear from Barbara Smith Warner at Building Trades that Senator Wyden will be in State most of August; it maybe a good time to invite him to the Hall.



We need to remember Brother Jimmy Walters, Brother Bill Edens (who looked pretty good at the retiree meeting); and Brother Sonny Newsom who are recovering from surgeries and Brother Jim Zettlow who is fighting Mesothelioma, and brother Dennis Hutzenbieler who is doing well and heading off to a wedding in Anaconda, for speedy and successful recoveries so please add them to your prayers, and the family of Brother Jack Sundstrom.



SPORTS:


I AM MORE OF AN AMERICAN LEAGUE FAN, ORIOLES & MARINERS, BUT I MUST SAY THE NATIONAL LEAGUE WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE WITH THAT ALL STAR WIN.



IT IS TOUGH BEING A MARINERS FAN, THEY REALLY NEED SOME RUN SUPPORT !



FAMILY & AOH REPORT :


OUR CONDOLENCES SHOULD ALL GO OUT TO THE FAMILY OF COUSIN DAN MONAHAN ON THE LOSS OF HIS SISTER-IN-LAW, PATRICIA MONAHAN.



I DID HAVE A NICE TALK WITH LARRY PAHUT AND HE FILLED ME IN ON HIS DAUGHTERS AMY AND BRANDEE, AND THAT THEY ARE BOTH GETTING READY FOR DEPLOYMENT, ONE TO JAPAN AND ONE TO KUWAIT, GOD BLESS AND PROTECT THEM. DANIEL DID TELL ME THAT WHILE KUWAIT WAS HOTTER THAN IRAQ, IT WAS SAFER.



I AM OFFICIALLY AN OLD PERSON, “GREY PANTHER, 62” ON JULY 28TH, NEXT SATURDAY, I CAN TELL BECAUSE I AM REALLY GETTING GRUMPY, BUT IF YOU DARE; WE ARE HAVING A GATHERING HERE FROM NOON TO 4PM. STILL TRYING TO GET A HEAD COUNT, AND WE'RE STILL NOT SURE?



CONGRATULATIONS COUSIN JOE MEHRENS FOR BEING INDUCTED INTO THE ANACONDA HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME :-) !
