***JUDI WAS RIGHT AND i WAS WRONG, SURPRISE ! ***

PERSONAL:



I awoke this morning at 6am, and took my am pills. (10), then and awoke to a 3, and then took my five hr energy. I checked my B.P. this morning at 8:30am and it was 153/75/63. I didn't do squat yesterday either. I did find out that Judi was right and I was wrong on the date for Daniel and Trinas “Monster Bash”, it is going to be held on October 27th, but the O.M.S.N. Spaghetti feed is going to be held November 27th !


I am still working on correcting mistakes, AND NOT ALL OF THESE ARE MINE YOU KNOW!


I sure hope a new I pad helps.


IT STILL APPEARS I NEED AN ELECTRICTAN AS THE POWER IN THE KITCHEN IS STILL GONE :-( .




POLITICAL:



I did get one of my Obama Biden signs up, so far no one has messed with it, no tomatoes or anything.


CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE HALES ON YOUR LOCAL 290 ENDORSEMENT.


SENATOR WYDEN, WE STILL NEED THOSE GOOD UNION JOBS ON THE PIPELINE AND COAL TERMINALS ! AND THE PORTLAND CITY COUNCIL COULD SURE STOP TRYING TO SLOW EVERYTHING DOWN, MANY OF THOSE GOOD JOBS WOULD ACTUALLY GO TO MEN AND WOMEN IN NORTH PORTLAND AMANDA ! I had a good conversation with Barbara Smith Warner and she told me Senator Wyden would be in town in October and I will see if we can maybe get him out to the hall, the PAC meeting on the third Monday.


I must also say we have much to do before the November elections, but I will also say, as a life-long Democrat; it does appear we will have a real coordinated campaign this year, and from what everyone is saying, we better. THANK YOU ASHLEY.

I received another fundraiser letter, and receipt from my previous donation; from Congressman Schrader and I will put his e mail address in here so you can help fight the “Rove Billions” ! And sign his petition to get us out of Afghanistan. And I also understand his lawn signs are ready.

JUDI DID FIND ME A COOL IRISH SAYINGS BOOK THAT I WILL START ADDING HERE.

If we keep buying imports, where will our children work ?


IF YOU TELL YOURSELF A STORY LONG ENOUGH, PRETTY SOON YOU WILL HAVE YOURSELF BELIEVING IT. I am no longer a smoker !!


If other people think you are crazy, is it possible you could be ?

How many people have been murdered over the centuries in the name of religion, especially so many that PROFESS they have a peaceful foundation ?


No matter how bad you think things are for you, and it pains me to say it, but; it's worse for many others, right here in the so-called “richest” country in the world, and it will be worse under a ro-money/ryan presidency.


I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front again, especially the repose of the soul of Uncle Hank, and for sister Danni, brother Gil. And thank you all for Rhyon, Christopher, cousin Amy, cousin Brandee and soon, nephew Rhett..

I did return the book to the church library, “BECOMING MORE LIKE CHRIST”; it is a basic guide to daily prayer and meditation and it has been uncanny in the assistance it has given me almost daily. I still think all those, so called, Christians in congress, especially V.P. Candidate Paul Ryan; could use a copy of that book!


I BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST WAS THE FIRST “TRUE” COMMUNIST, BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WAS THE FIRST TO SAY; EVERYTHING “BELONGS” TO EVERYONE. In that same vain, doesn't that include healthcare?


ARE “ALL” WOMEN & UNION MEMBERS THAT ARE REPUBLICANS JUST STUPID ?”
(rhetorical question), THAT MEANS, I KNOW THE ANSWER.





COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES:




Cousin Daniel's “Monster Bash” is going to be held at U.A. Local 290 on October 27th at 6pm benefiting the Oregon National Guard, and they are still looking for donations.


And brother Glen Schuck and the Oregon Military Support Network (O.M.S.N.) spaghetti feed fundraiser will be held November 17th 6pm, $8.00, at Grace Pointe Church, Helm Hall, 10750 Se 42nd ave. in Milwaukie; and they are also looking for donations, contact oregonmilitarysupportnetwork.org


The American Rights at Work still needs help; now more than ever. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, The President and our two Senators haven't; E.F.C.A. And based on what I have been seeing and hearing, the Republicans have Organized Labor directly in their cross hairs and picking Paul Ryan means they are locked and loaded.

UNION REPORT:



Volunteer Organizing Committee meeting is Tomorrow at 6pm at the hall, G.L.W.A.T.C.D.R., and I remember, I'll be there.

I also received a phone call from brother Jeff and it appears his refinancing is going through with a great rate from Umqua Bank, which has me reviewing the SW Washington homes booklet I have.

I did talk to Sister Danni and she seemed pleased with her job interview last Friday.

I DID UPDATE THE MEHRENS MONAHAN BLOG, I HOPE; AND PUT IN THE PRAYER TO SAINT JUDE FOR UNCLE HANK, hopefully.
