INTO THE NET GOES SENATOR ROBERT BYRD

I awoke at 6am today after 8hrs of sleep to a 3+. I took my pills and put up my flag. I am still going to try to shorten my blog as I am not so sure many read it anyway.

I am still impressed with the President with his handling of B.P.. I do wish that his campaign statement that he was going to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan was higher on his priority list though.

I awoke today to the sad news that one of my “HERO'S” passed away. It was Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia. One of the MANY reasons I placed him there was from watching him, on Bill Moyers Journal, as the lone Senator on the floor of the Senate arguing against W. going to war without an official declaration from congress.

I believe that coal is the most abundant source of energy in this country. I do hope that this country can develop an energy system that does not need “dirty old oil”, the gulf coast fiasco comes to mind. Mining coal and drilling for oil are very dangerous jobs also, and he was a tireless fighter for workers in general and coal minors in particular.

I would submit, those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are doing dangerous jobs and I would venture a guess, most of them would rather have the opportunity to work in a coal mine, on an oil rig, OR POWER PLANT than in the ALL VOLUNTEER SERVICES.

I did check with the PUC and they said it would NOT be put on the website, but if I wanted to I could phone the court recorder that kept track of the proceedings.

I am still waiting on Kaiser and Joe Biden for my checks.

We have PUBLISHED AUTHOR in the family and I think she is only a few sales away from making the Clackamas County Review best seller list. If you check on the picture here on the front page it should take you to where you can order her book. Until she started writing that cookbook I never realized how many people needed Gluten Free food. I also have another book to recommend. “The Opposite Field” by Jessie Katz. I would encourage anyone who likes Baseball, in particular little league, to get that book. It has been a really good read so far, and I would recommend a new one from Ed Schultz, “Killer Politics”.

I still believe the U of O is ANTI-UNION, and it appears they are not the only people, and appears to me now that they are not alone.

NEPHEW CHRISTOPHER IS IN AFGHANISTAN STILL, and thank you for your service and you are in our prayers every day.

Cousin Larry Pahut's, run off election is in November and he will also need more help. I will say thank you to any and all that helped. That would be a picture of our grandfather there on the right, John L. Monahan, L for Larry? His sister, Patty Ann Sullivan is his Campaign Manager and must have done a fine job. I actually did send him a check, and saw that it had been cashed and would ask all to give what they can. (campaign H.Q. Are 400 Spruce, Anaconda, Montana 59711) Based on the fact he is in a run off they will probably still need more funds.

I don't know if Senator Robert Byrd was so much a fisherman, but I am sure he is in the net also.

I know I have been repeating things, maybe too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

M.S., LDN and AMP REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better, especially since I am starting my day with it instead of finishing the day. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My B.P. was 128/76/52 at 10:29am today.

POLITICAL

I have been watching the opening of the hearing Ms. Kagan as a Supreme Court court nominee. I will start a newer LIST today. Based on Senator Sessions opening statements we will move him up/down to this new list “AGRONA”, which “I think” is Gaelic for THE Devil, or worse.

Am I the only one that sees a general connection between the “Tea Partiers”, the “Michigan Militia” and all the other CRAZIES out there, to the “MANSON FAMILY” and Dick Army as the new Manson?

DO YOU THINK ALL THOSE “LITTLE” PEOPLE IN THE GULF, WAITING ON ALL THAT B.P. OIL TO COME ASHORE WOULD RATHER HAVE HAD AN L.N.G. PLANT? ( this is for all my Oregon Anti LNG readers)

Speaking of struggling teams, Go Orioles; and Peter have your people keep an eye on that Mehrens kid that is playing for the S. Cal Rangers, I have been following his progress on line and he definitely has the right stuff, although his team is really struggling.

The American Rights at Work still needs help. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue. E.F.C.A. Especially in light of that mine disaster in West Virginia and those Rig explosions in the Gulf. I watched 60 minutes and as far as I am concerned, now that the Supreme Court has ruled that Corporations must be treated as regular people as far as “Campaign Finance is concerned” shouldn't they be treated as regular people when it comes to Murder or Manslaughter? If two or more people get together to plan and commit a crime isn't that a “conspiracy”; isn't that how they got the MOB?
