I awoke this morning at 6:30am, after 8+ hours of sleep and awoke to a 3-, still pretty tired and with a stuffy head and took my am pills. We had a neighborhood dice game (10,000) and hot chicken wings here at the house last night, and a good time was had by all. Judi was going over to see good friend and our “official” photographer, (Pat O'Baby) today, but she called last night and asked her not to as she was running a fever; and I would ask everyone to dedicate their prayer to St. Jude for her. I am going to try to remember to schedule a massage appointment and an appointment with Dr. Zarelli to get a marihuana prescription. I met a home health care nurse, who specialized ing taking care of M.S. Patient's and she took care of her last patient for 14 years and said he got tired of all the pills after about 4 years and then got a medical marihuana card and she said it was very helpful for his last 10 years. I have completed (I think) the work I had to do for the Oregon Historical Society intern coming Wednesday. I did watch the talking heads yesterday and it was very apparent to me the main (CBS-NBC) Media is doing every question asked was designed to blame President Obama for all things wrong with this country. I also got through for comments to Good Friend Bruce Broussard on his “Oregon Voters Digest” show last night, they also have past shows on Utube; I would encourage all to watch. You are probably not going to believe this, and I'm not sure I can pull it off; but I am committed to stop my “Oregon keno playing” ( I don't think they are going to name a park after me anyway ! :-p) I have also started to read Woody Guthrie's autobiography “Bound for Glory”; he passed away in 1967 but you might think he was speaking of the times we are in right now. The “WALL STREET, BANKSTERS demonstrations continue, and it appeared on the news last night things went rather badly Saturday and Sunday; they are sure making a big deal about the cost's being born by the City. I would make a suggestion that the credit Unions get together and have a “C.U.M.O.” Credit Unions our Member Owned, gathering around the City. and BILL the Banks for the Cities clean up costs, with some sort of “Business License fee” to pay for the clean up. SHOCK OF ALL SHOCKS, Commissioner Fritz was supporting their right to protest, so far anyway, it's alright here but apparently not in Ireland. I did hear that Commissioner Fritz voted against the “jobs” Columbia River Crossing project, and I hope everyone appreciated my very short posting yesterday, but I didn't get to say Thank You, and go up the hill to see Mom and Dad.

My flier for the local branches of Wells Fargo, Chase and Citibank, were very popular at the union meeting, the AFL-CIO rally downtown, I should have got a few more I am the 99% placards, everybody wants one.

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice). We need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants. This battle for justice that is being waged here in the U.S.A. by father McManus is also being waged in Belfast Northern Ireland by a heroic Belfast protestant named Raymond McCord Sr., whose son was also assassinated. I have received Father McManus's book and it was signed by our New Assistant G.P., and I now have a better understanding of commissioner Fritz's racist Animosity towards the Irish. I did send Father McManus a check to join his efforts and he sent me a thank you and I am now a Congressional friend of Father McManus.

I ALSO THINK maybe we (AOH) can get an “Irish Appreciation Night fundraiser at Jeld Wen field, and that would go a long way to having the funds for future actions, and they did announce they were increasing the capacity.
