I awoke this morning at 11am and after 12+- hours of sleep I awoke to a 3, I took my am pills. Judi is off getting me a new phone at Stephanie's. Judi's Karma has been really good lately, for me anyway. I did get my scooter fixed before we headed to Spirit Mountain, thank you Dan and Mike. I did talk to Crystal and Jeremiah about the M.S. WALK and they are looking forward to it and I have 18 (pretty sure) on our team so far. I will also try to get up to Gloria'z and see how far along Mike is with Judi's PSU Viking birdhouse. I still need the rain to stop. I am making some (I think anyway) major changes beginning with just making BOLD that which is new on the blog beginning next year. Judi and I ran into Bob Williams last night when we went to dinner and he said he would stop by to look at the V.I.P. Program CD and maybe get an invite for a show and tell on his Sunday Oregon Voters Digest show. The yo-yo continues on the DOW as it was down today.

My flier for the local branches of Wells Fargo, Chase and Citibank, have been very popular at the union, the AFL-CIO rally downtown; and their local branches, make the rain stop :-(.

WE ALSO FOUND OUT GERALD IS OPENING ANOTHER KELL'S AT 21ST AND EVERETT, BUT I THINK IT WILL JUST BE BREW PUB AND SPORTS BAR, AND OUR NEXT MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY JANUARY 17TH.

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice). We need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants. This battle for justice that is being waged here in the U.S.A. by father McManus is also being waged in Belfast Northern Ireland by a heroic Belfast protestant named Raymond McCord Sr., whose son was also assassinated. I have received Father McManus's book and it was signed by our New Assistant G.P., and I now have a better understanding of commissioner Fritz's racist Animosity towards the Irish and apparently New Jersey has it's own racist. I did send Father McManus a check to join his efforts and he sent me a thank you and I am now a Congressional friend of Father McManus, and yes Holmie, I do have your letter to join.

I do have MY signed copy of from Belmullet to Anaconda and it is super cool, and based on what cousin Dan found out about the Monahan's, and what I was told about the Wallace's (Gramma Bossie) being from Tuam, north of Galway also Bab's and Mernie's kids and Mom and Dad's kids may share more gene's than we even thought, and I have begun to update my Mehrens/Monahan blog!

SPORTS:

I ALSO THINK maybe we (AOH) can get an “Irish Appreciation Night” fundraiser at Jeld Wen field, and that would go a long way to having the funds for future actions, and they did announce they were increasing the capacity.
