3+ CORPORATIONS CAUSED THAT GULF OIL CATASTROPHY.........IS THAT A "CONSPIRACY" ?

I awoke today at 5:00am after 9+hrs of sleep to a 3- with lower back pain and a little headache. I took my am pills, and put out my flag. when the sun came up. I still have work to do on my YELLOW RIBBON aid section. I picked up the x-rays and they are on a disc. I went to the Chiropractor up here on Sunnyside and scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday afternoon but I forgot to leave one of the copies and I will be checking a little later today. I also received a letter from the IRS telling me we owed more taxes from 2008. I called my accountant and he told me they were screwed up and to send him the letter. I had Judi copy it and send it to him by email. While I was speaking to him he informed me of a “buried section” in the new health care bill that would require us to fill out a w-2 for everyone we do business with next year spending over $600.00 on. I will be contacting Senator Wyden's constituent service to find out what that I about? I do not recall anyone talking about THAT in the health care bill ? Based on President Obama's press conference yesterday about the oil spill I really believe that A) EVERYONE involved in the gulf oil spill should go to jail. After all they have not only CONTRIBUTED to that massive environmental catastrophe they KILLED almost a dozen workers, and B) I know that there were over 2,000 good UNION jobs waiting, and ready to build that Clean Energy plant at Bradwood Landing, but based on the news I have heard, it is one of the 3-4 proposed, and they have given up after 10 years.

The Governor was reported to not have made a decision on the other plants. I saw that ALL the Senators from Oregon, Washington and California are proposing a permanent BAN on deep water drilling off the west coast; notice – no one from Alaska. I also think the Governor's announced personnel changes should be good for the State. Based on what I read it is a good move, but maybe too little too late. I think everyone that was celebrating the stopping of the Bradwood plant were Anti-Union, not necessarily anti-LNG.

I did put together MY primary endorsement list for this months primary, (Tomorrow) with a short explanation of why these candidates have my support, our ballots are in the mail. You will not see a Republican endorsed, mostly because I will be voting in the Democratic Primary but there may be an r in a non-partisan race.
I did watch Oregon Voters Digest last night and, although I missed him on my endorsements, I do think Dave Hunt's interview with Fred Stewart went very well, as Speaker of the Oregon House, HE DEFINITELY SHOULD BE RETURNED.

NEPHEWS CHRISTOPHER AND RHYON ARE BOTH IN AFGHANISTAN and still need our prayers.

Cousin Larry Pahut is running for Justice of the Peace in Deer Lodge County. The election is in June and that would be a picture of his grandfather there on the right, John L. Monahan, L for Larry? . His sister, Patty Ann Sullivan is his Campaign Manager and we became face book friends. I actually did send him a check, and saw that it had been cashed and would ask all to give what they can. I know I have been repeating things, maybe too much, on my blog; but some of this stuff I need to be reminded of and some of this stuff others need to be reminded of.

LDN and AMP REPORT

This is my attempt to keep track of my experiences with my LDN treatment for my Neurologist and his RN. So far with the 4.5mg, I think I'm noticeably better. I am experiencing better days and now that I'm doing the new dosage I am seeing a marked change. I have now been on that brand new FDA approved pill, Aminopyridine, even though I missed a few times, and I am very pleased. It is supposed to be good for “gait” issues, even those with primary progressive. My appointment with my Primary Care Dr. went well yesterday and my chiropractor last week suggested I get a neck X-ray and I checked out a Chiropractor that is just a mile away that is on Kaisers “acceptable” list. I did take the paper work from the Lloyd Center Pharmacy to fill out and take in to Kaiser regarding their coverage and Medicare, I asked for and received a referral to the Chiropractor just a mile away, and I got the X-ray's that Dr. Finley asked me to get, but he was upset that they are on disc and not printed out. My B.P. was 137/82/57 at 9:45am today; too high again today.

I planned on adding a new section for my own comments on personal issues; and maybe some Irish issues, Daniel IS Irish? Did you know some of the first victims of the K.K.K. In Oregon were Irish Catholics.

DO YOU THINK ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN THE GULF WAITING ON ALL THAT B.P. OIL TO COME ASHORE WOULD RATHER HAVE AN L.N.G. PLANT? ( this is for all my Oregon Anti LNG readers)

REASONS

As Governor, I think Dr John Kitzhaber brings experience in the job and will serve Oregon best because of the passage of National Health Care Legislation, AND he took the time from his busy campaign schedule last summer to visit with a good friend and someone who worked for him; before she passed away from cancer.

Senator Ron Wyden because he is the one that is carrying the soft landing bill in the U.S. Senate and our service Men and Women need it.

Senator Patty Murray because she sponsored and helped pass Legislation that gets our service men and women the benefits they deserve.

Congressman Earl Blumenhauer for his ability to help get some of our dollars back from the federal government for good public works projects.

Congressman Kurt Schrader because of his experience as a small business person and he has regular, if not daily, contact with his district. (Martha)

Rick Metzger for State Treasurer because he served so well as my State Senator. And is strongly supported by the Credit Unions; the banks with hearts.

Brent Barton for Oregon State Senate District 26 because he served so well as my State Representative.

Cheryl Myers as my State Representative in District 51 for her focus on children and schools.

Barbara Stringham because she believes the County Clerk should be a NON PARTISAN Office.

My Clackamas County Commissioners recommendations because they are supported by individuals or organizations that I have a lot of respect for.

Metro Council President Rex Burkholder and the commissioner recommendations because they do NOT want to throw the millions of dollars invested in clearing up that regular traffic jam at the Interstate Bridge, and I am concerned that the other candidate for President would start over on the decades of work done on that issue and with his back round he would probably drive the project to a bridge with 10-12 bike lanes.

PORTLAND CITY COUNCIL RACES because I know all the candidates listed and the 2 I endorsed both deserve to be returned.

Don't forget to respond to the census as there are 37 governors elections this year and we can't let them Gerrymander congressional districts and end up like we did in the 90's. Ours is in the mail. One of those 37 is right here in Oregon and I'm sure, keeping a Democrat in the Governors Mansion is Paramount. One that actually believes in JOBS.

I haven't changed my mind that ALL that health care “controversy” that was being generated was to take the publics mind off of the Employee Free Choice Act, American Rights at Work, “card check” legislation. I do believe passage of the E.F.C.A. might have made quite a difference in both the West Virginia, and Kentucky accidents. I also heard that that a$$&*$# company owner in West Virginia refused to allow UNION MINORS to try to help. Did I hear that Halliburton ( give the boot to Brown and Root) had something to do with building and or maintaining that Oil Rig that exploded and sank?Being that they are one of those pointing fingers at that Senate Hearing.

I still don't know yet, if the “soft landing” bill is done but that is one issue I will keep harping on until I am sure.

Did you know that there were more vets that died last year because they didn't have health care, than died in both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars? I was really surprised that I didn't hear anyone point that out in the debates that I saw.

Larry Roberta, a reclusive Aumsville veteran whose story of health problems from hexavalent chromium exposure in The Oregonian alerted his fellow soldiers, most of whom live between Forest Grove, McMinnville and Gresham. COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS & CHARITIES

While I missed the BULL Session luncheon, I did get a wonderful 20th anniversary lapel pin and an awesome (PAPERWEIGHT, MAGNIFYING GLASS?) I will get the updated website linked soon I hope.

The M.S. WALK was a resounding success, they are still adding everything up and I think we were more successful than last year. You are still eligible for a prize for your donation all the way to the end of May. I did get my receipt and an incomplete report.

You were a big part of the success of Walk MS 2010. Over 5,000 individuals came together at 10 Walk sites across Oregon and SW Washington. That’s 500 more individuals than last year! As a Chapter we have raised over $525,000 toward our goal of $576,044. Portland Walkers increased their fundraising by 19% and raised over $309,000.
If I remember later, I will do a special edition on an update on our efforts.

Denise Hutzenbieler will be looking for help in June as she is walking in the Epilepsy walk. I will post more on that walk as I get it.

The American Rights at Work still needs help. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue. E.F.C.A. Especially in light of that mine disaster in West Virginia and those Rig explosions in the Gulf. I watched 60 minutes last night and as far as I am concerned, now that the Supreme Court has ruled that Corporations must be treated as regular people as far as “Campaign Finance is concerned” shouldn't they be treated as regular people when it comes to Murder or Manslaughter?
