I slept in this morning until 9:45am, after 9+- hours of sleep and awoke to a 3; and took my am pills. The change continues. I did get an email from one of the brothers about the “carpenters” raiding the U.A. on a job in Longview, and and I can't help but believe Jim Francesconi is somewhere behind it; also, I placed the information on my “Rat Patrol Blog” and will keep it here in my Local Union Report. I slept late because we had our neighborhood dice&wings gathering at the house and went until fairly late. I did update my “Rat Patrol” blog, and I did get things square for our “silent auction” for Al at Gloria'z on the 29th and would ask all that can, to attend and even bring something for the auction and I will put his facebook page in the Local Union Section. And today being my what ever day I will try to keep it short, I am back on my regular schedule to Monday, Wednesday and Friday; (My Mehrens/Monahan) blog Thursday and Saturday; and (The O.R.T.- Now Wally's Rat Patrol) Blog Tuesday and (whatever) on Sunday. I did send around that Wikipedia site on Monahans Texas that Judi found for me and I am not having any luck checking with cousin Dan to see if he got it, I called uncle Larry and had a nice conversation with Arlene, as Larry was at the store. The “WALL STREET, BANKSTERS demonstrations continue, and it looks like good turnouts continue here in Portland and based on the news it is spreading around the world, THE DOW IS DOWN TODAY 200+ PONTS, IT LOOKS LIKE HIWAY ROBBERY TO ME.

The Demonstrations in N.Y. City against the Banksters are absolutely great ! And there is a lot of buzz on line about what many are doing to get even with them, some of which sound pretty good. I did see that the demonstrations continue, now all over the world. YEA !!

I still think we need a few OREGONIANS on Father McManus's “Congressional Friends” list. We must never forget the Ballymurphy Massacre of 1971, (40 years searching for justice). We need to realize along with a number of Irish Catholic's, including a priest that were assassinated that day there were also a number of Northern Irish Protestants. This battle for justice that is being waged here in the U.S.A. by father McManus is also being waged in Belfast Northern Ireland by a heroic Belfast protestant named Raymond McCord Sr., whose son was also assassinated. I have received Father McManus's book and it was signed by our New Assistant G.P., and I now have a better understanding of commissioner Fritz's racist Animosity towards the Irish. I did send Father McManus a check to join his efforts and he sent me a thank you and I am now a Congressional friend of Father McManus, and I need to take 2 more invites for Brother brothers Holmes tonight.

SPORTS:

I did see that the Portland Timbers are selling individual tickets, and maybe we (AOH) can get an “Irish Appreciation Night fundraiser at Jeld Wen field?

My baseball reports will be limited to, the Playoffs now that my Orioles knocked out the Red Sox :-), wait till next year for the Cubs. The tigers are out but the Cardinals are in.

The Montana Grizzlies beat Portland State in another come from behind victory, but I did check on that Monahan wide receiver on the Vikings team. I don't know if he is related but I did find out he is from right here in West Linn, Oregon and could they be related?
