PERSONAL:


I awoke this morning at 7:30am to a 2+, and took my am pills. (11), then took my five hour energy at about 9am and then headed off to Building Trades. I am posting late for many reasons today. I think the 2+ was due in large part because I put that numbing salve on my knees that I received from my Dr. at Kaiser yesterday. I did have to get a new B.P. machine and I didn't get it hooked up until after I got home and my BP was 138/74/66 at 3:30pm. Between my new B.P. Machine and the salve Kaiser stuck me for over $60 hence my current headline, whatever happened to that $20 co payment? I did face book brother Porter and thanked him for the special treatment Friday night. I also got quite the hand at building trades today, showing off my 40 year pin. But brother Ed Barnes was also there, showing off his Trophy's and King's crown as the WINNER off the dancing with the star's competition in Vancouver. I also received 2 “bad” news notices, one was that the Oregon Military Support Network is having a spagetti fundraiser the same day as “THE MONSTER BASH” Daniel and Trina are doing at 290. I also was lucky enough to hit a four spot with a five multiplier at lunch that while it hasn’t got me in the black for September, it has dropped my average down to less than $15.00 a day. I still have to check out on line those new I Pads, as I have a friend, and now cousin Bobbie who swear by theirs.


I am still working on correcting mistakes, AND NOT ALL OF THESE ARE MINE YOU KNOW!


IT STILL APPEARS I NEED AN ELECTRICTAN AS THE POWER IN THE KITCHEN IS STILL GONE :-( .




POLITICAL:



CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE HALES ON YOUR LOCAL 290 ENDORSEMENT.


SENATOR WYDEN, WE STILL NEED THOSE GOOD UNION JOBS ON THE PIPELINE AND COAL TERMINALS ! AND THE PORTLAND CITY COUNCIL COULD SURE STOP TRYING TO SLOW EVERYTHING DOWN, MANY OF THOSE GOOD JOBS WOULD ACTUALLY GO TO MEN AND WOMEN IN NORTH PORTLAND AMANDA !

I also had a good discussion with Joe Esmonde of IBEW 48 at lunch and apparently they have a fall election program every Saturday at their hall and all are invited.


I did get to the old NWOLC building on Se 12th and Madison to Obama Biden H.Q. and got 4 lawn signs, but they wanted a $60 donation being they generally only give them out Monday's, Wednesday's and Saturdays, but after a little discussion, and the $60 bucks cash I got my four lawn signs, and I wonder if that get's me more “dinner with the President chances?, and then as luck would have it they were giving them away at the Union meeting and even though I didn't make the P.A.C. Meeting they did endorse Charlie Hales for Portland Mayor and Charlotte Lehan in Clackamas County.


I must also say we have much to do before the November elections, but I will also say, as a life-long Democrat; it does appear we will have a real coordinated campaign this year, and from what everyone is saying, we better. THANK YOU ASHLEY.

I will try to change them at least ever few weeks, but here is the first:

No matter how bad you think things are for you, and it pains me to say it, but; it's worse for many others, right here in the so-called “richest” country in the world, and it will be worse under a ro-money/ryan presidency.


I will put the prayers I have been posting again right here up front again, especially the repose of the soul of Uncle Hank, and for sister Danni, brother Gil. And thank you all for Rhyon, Christopher, cousin Amy, cousin Brandee and soon, nephew Rhett..

I did return the book to the church library, “BECOMING MORE LIKE CHRIST”; it is a basic guide to daily prayer and meditation and it has been uncanny in the assistance it has given me almost daily. I still think all those, so called, Christians in congress, especially V.P. Candidate Paul Ryan; could use a copy of that book!


I BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST WAS THE FIRST “TRUE” COMMUNIST, BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WAS THE FIRST TO SAY; EVERYTHING “BELONGS” TO EVERYONE. In that same vain, doesn't that include healthcare?


ARE “ALL” WOMEN & UNION MEMBERS THAT ARE REPUBLICANS JUST STUPID ?”
(rhetorical question), THAT MEANS, I KNOW THE ANSWER.

The American Rights at Work still needs help; now more than ever. We must not take our eye off that MAIN issue, The President?, and our two Senators haven't; E.F.C.A. And based on what I have been seeing and hearing, the Republicans have Organized Labor directly in their cross hairs and picking Paul Ryan means they are locked and loaded.

I'VE BEEN JUST TOO BUSY TO KEEP TRACK, BUT I HOPE MY ORIOLES ARE STILL GIVING THOSE “DAMN YANKEES”, I DID SEE WHERE THEY ARE LEADING IN THE AL EAST WILD CARD AND WERE ONLY ONE GAME BACK FROM THE YANKEES !


MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL LAST NIGHT WAS AWESOME, SEAHAWKS WON ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME!
