PERSONAL

I awoke this morning about 7am to a 3, it was dry but brisk outside. I took my am pills and settled into my chair and set the tapes for the talking heads and some sports. I took Judi to dinner last night at the Pub, it was really a bribe to get my Powerball and Keno tickets, but still nice to get out for a few hours and the food and service was very good. After we got home, while sitting on my back deck I made a call, from memory, to my Aunt in Montana and we had a really nice talk. It appeared that most of her family was out snow-cating, but most of the news from her was good. But I did find out that the Montana phone system still has not been modernized. It still appears the bells ring to receive a call but the buttons don’t work to make one. (Well, I guess that’s not just a problem with Montana bell; maybe it’s a genetic condition?) Isn’t it wonderful we live in this age of instant communication? One good thing is, online we have a delete button, the bad thing is, when in person or on the phone we don’t. I think I’m going to add another section of this publication, as my Community Organizer section is getting pretty repetitive.

POLITICAL

In my conversation with my Aunt I told her of my and Judi’s differences going into the last election. We both started with different candidates but did eventually come around to the winner. I told her, that after I made my decision to support Barack I found that Video on the Montana Standard that had his speech in Butte. Seeing that Video proved to me that he not only would, but could, be a great President.

SPORTS

The Blazers are back on track, and I still have not yet joined a fantasy baseball league, yet.
