PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 6am to a 3- after 7 hours of good sleep. I felt better than I should have after last nights “tournament”. The tournament was a little short handed but I did manage to finish in the money. Of course there were only four players and we awarded three places. I’m thinking brother Mike will have more incentive to get his son-in-law there next time. :-p Brother Mike tried like heck to get Marty to jump off that garage roof again last night; but he didn’t fall for that this time.

POLITICAL

Not much here, being it’s Saturday and all, but I did hear from my good friend Dan Gardner and he seems to be taking well to his new position in D.C. We will all have to watch for him on C-span, being he is spending so much time at the Capital.

SPORTS

I’ve seen 3 different Cubby preseason games and I really believe there are no safe goats anywhere. This IS their year! Chicago and Baltimore in the series; You heard it here first.
