Bear Rally or return of Bull Market?

PERSONAL

I awoke this morning at 5:45am to a 3 after 7+ hours of sleep. It is a damp and cool morning, I took my am pills, I put out my flag. Judi's friend Mark didn't show yesterday but did call and said he re-strained a muscle but should be by or call today. He did tear out the overgrown Jasmine at the front porch, and I am sure they didn't go easily and I am going to miss that wonderful aroma. I did not get to re-read the manual on my new phone, and I still don't know if I deleted the camera program, but the bad picture is still there. In my messing with the phone I have connected it to my email and now I not only get to speak with people, text people and send and receive email.
I am still reviewing my Brother-in laws and sister-in-laws MS walk pitchers they printed out. They look good and now I have to choose which to try to put on my blog. More how to reading today I guess.

I still want to see the “majority” in the Senate get to 60 but not at the expense of the Free Choice Act. HMMM, I wonder if Specter was putting his name out there for consideration to the Supreme Court? I wonder if it's time for that Lloyd Bensten vs Dan Quale repeat?

POLITICAL

Hey, Oregon Guard, the Salem Legislatures got your Back.

***WORTH REPEATING***Senator Arlen Specter, who says he is a Democrat now because the conservative republicans planned on running a real conservative in the Republican Primary. In fact his pollster said he couldn't win. He is still against the Employee Free Choice Act, but considers Labor Law Reform a real need. A question was raised “should a Supreme Court nominee have to be a Lawyer”? He said no, something I agree with him on, and then spoke of an old friend of his from the Senate. The old friend, not a lawyer, but a real Statesman that would have made a fine Supreme Court Justice was Senator Mark Hatfield. Now he thinks that Coleman guy should be given that Minnesota Senate Seat, because there are not enough “what” in the Senate? Not gonna happen, unless he gets back on board with the Employee Free Choice act, he should not be allowed to call himself a Democrat. I think Pennsylvania democrats, like Pennsylvania Union members understand, your not just a democrat when you are in the voting booth nor a union member when your at work.

It's graduation time and I hope the next leg in the life of all the graduates is exiting and successful. I know there is 8%+ unemployment out there and these new graduates will add to that number, but remember summer employment is temporary and a great investment in this country's future.

I still like the Oregon Speaker but I'm still asking why the Oregon Democrats, don't support President Obama and his efforts to get us off of foreign oil, encourage clean coal technology, and put Oregonians back to work on good union jobs with health care and other benefits? He has got a “Town Hall” coming up. I'm not going to be able to make it but maybe someone will ask?

I'M STILL ASKING Is there anyone from Senator Murray's, Senator Cantwell's or Congressman Baird's office paying attention? I'm still waiting............also; I am still working on that letter out to Senator Wyden on the same subject.

If any one is watching from Washington; the state or DC; I have a question. My sister has a mortgage currently with Wells Fargo with an interest rate currently over 7%. She did hear from them WF that the president (OBAMA) has a new plan to help her She was told they could refinance down to a 5% mortgage and they would send her the paperwork. The paper work offered an ARM that could go as high as 8%. I told her to package the paperwork and go visit the local office of her Congressman, Brian Baird or the Vancouver offices of either or both Senators. She thinks & I agree, WF is using the housing crisis, and the (OBAMA) housing program as a scam. I sure hope SOMEONE can tell me that President Obama is not part of this scam?

It does appear Congress is going try to find out who is at the bottom of the “financial” fiasco. I appreciate them investigating, and as much as it sounds like they may find a Bernie Madoff some where in there, It does seem to look like the Banks have run a Ponzi scheme, and the similarities in the Savings and Loan Scandal of the past is uncanny, I'm sure the Bush name won't be the only thing tyeing those two scandals together; Ya Think?

SPORTS

How about them Mariners, Baseball is supposed to be a nine inning affair is it not? Fifteen innings, 10 innings, are they just over buying the hot dog's and such? That kid from “Butte” behind the plate is doing pretty darn good still.

I haven't seen a report on the Cubs Ace, Zambrano, I hope all is well. He is 5-0 and already the leading candidate for the NL Cy Young.......hell; I'd say MVP also.

C0MMUNITY ORGANIZERS

NWOLC's Labor Appreciation is coming up, I hope you all have your tickets! We got ours, now all I have to do is schedule a nap.

The Helena AOH is still raising funds for their to-do, The Meagher Memorial at Fort Benton Montana. Donations can be sent to The Meagher Memorial at PO Box 1916; Helena Montana 59624. With the many Irish followers I have, maybe I can give them some aid.

As a future Teamster, I'm sure, Wyatt supports the Employee Free Choice Act, and after all it was May Day and I think that is a good day throughout his family; and I'm not talking about pole dancing!

I hope everyone can share the American Rights at work website so my small donation can be utilized to it’s fullest extent. I did send them another small donation, because they are still doing the Lords work.

Please, You can share the American Rights, the MS walk, the March of Dimes walk and the recovery websites; so my taxes and donations can be utilized to their fullest extent.

Whether you attend a church service, a Mosque, G & L gathering, or Synagogue service, please say a prayer that God; yours, mine or ours; keeps our service men and women in the Palm of their hand. And maybe even a big prayer for my nephews Daniel, Christopher, Ryan and all the families serving.

Mike; I'm almost 1300 today and I'm feeling 4.

Now don't forget, say your prayers, and I'll see you next time on my blog.
