(Sept. 28) - Barack Obama leads John McCain, 50% to 42% among registered voters in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday -- just one point shy of his strongest showing of the year.
These results, from Sept. 25-27, span the time period since John McCain made the announcement that he was temporarily suspending his campaign and returning to Washington to work for a bipartisan solution to the financial crisis, and since Congressional leaders first announced progress towards the resolution of a financial bailout bill.

From Move on Sunday Great. I can tell from your nodding head that you agree. Now, let's make it happen—by helping three champs win tight, crucial races: Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Larry Kissell of North Carolina, and, ahem, Al Franken of Minnesota.

I got a personal email notice to watch before the VP debate. Listen to Cafferty file 1st’ then the Hypocrisy one, it will take a while.

1. Sarah Palin and Republican Hypocrisy

2. Jack Cafferty (CNN) on Sarah Palin Interview with Couric

I’ve been watching the Market and Cspan all morning. The House on Cspan1 set aside 3 hours for debate on the “bailout bill”, it took 4 hours and 15 minutes. The 15minute vote took almost 40 minutes. Pelosi promised at least 140 D votes and Boehner promised 70 R votes for the negotiated “Bailout Bill”. Pelosi got to 141 but Boehner could only get to 66. At the close of debate Boehner asked his Republican colleagues to “Look into their soul”, apparently only 66 could find one. It failed 205/228. While watching the debate and vote the market was down 500 ponts, and OIL was down $9.00.

SPORTS

GO CUBS GO

FFB; I’m only ahead by 35 points but my opponent has 1 player left to play. Hasselbeck needs a career night tonight to make the difference, otherwise I’m 3/0!

I think the Trojan’s and Beavers took notice of the Ducks Saturday. But apparently the National raters did not.

Well, have a good day; & I’ll see you next time on my blog…………..
